Spencer was never a so called “popular kid” throughout Elementary and Middle School and he already knew that things was not going to be any better in high school. He would always get picked on because of how ugly he was. Spencer knew that he was ugly but he tried not to let it get him down. He did not want his hate of the people who picked on him, which was basically everyone he encountered, triumph but he was only about two seconds from letting all Hell break loose. Miss Johnson was not the best mother; she would encourage Spencer to punshines the people who picked on him since he was little. Kids running, bells (and phones) ringing, teachers yelling names off their attendance lists. The only thing I felt was tension as I was in the middle of a hurricane of rushing students. It was absolute chaos as the first bell rang on the first day of middle school, signaling that classes were about to start.
A young man starting high school in a few weeks sat by a window thinking to himself. Most of his thoughts were about how scary it would be on the first day of school. His palms began to sweat, and he started biting his nails out of nervousness. Weeks of worry and self-doubt passed when finally the day arrived. The first day of school.
In the memory of each person about school, it was something that very difficult and pleasure, especially the first day of school. My family came to the U.S in my freshmen year, the first day of school on the land of free left me a lot of memories about school, the feelings , people and classes. The first day of school for me was messed up between the feelings, it’s because everything was new to me, there were many things that surprised and challenged me in the first day of school.
“Arrg!” I cried out in frustration as I tried to make a decision between the pink shirt with black polka dots and the green shirt with the floral design. Sinking into my bed, my chest swelled with not only every breath I managed to take, but with anxiety and fear. Unlike my roommates, I’d already been through the usual chaos that preceded that day— the last minute packing, labeling all those new binders like voids waiting to be filled with overwhelming homework assignments, and the running around for this and that two weeks ago. Contrary to popular opinion, the first day of school isn’t as bad as everyone makes it seem. For me the anticipation, the glow, the joy, and the eventual let down when it’s over are all what makes it one of my
The first week of school was finally coming to an end and she had a wonderful idea. Each day after work she had come up with one excuse after another to put off his request to stop by her home to study. At least, that’s what she had believed. With his help, homework had become less time consuming than a thought. It was completed within minutes shortly after they had arrived at the mall for their part-time job and an overall subject review during each break. Each exam they had taken that day was so simple that she was shocked that it seemed as if they had not prepared for any of the test at all.
Neuter It’s August 18th, the first day of school. Many children are not as eager to start classes, as they are to catch up with classmates after the summer. Students then begin to leave the courtyard and explore the route to their first class; memories of last year’s terrible lunch menus resurface, and schedules are then eagerly exchanged amongst friends in effort to revel in the success of the perfect schedule. Generally, first period comes equipped with the perfect group of friends, the easiest course, and most importantly, the laziest “pushover” teacher. Unfortunately, for students assigned to her classroom, this first day of school will leave a lasting impression on the minds of 30 multicultural/diverse students in tenth grade English. She opens her classroom door; the new 10th grade teachers’ walls are covered with things to look at, things to provoke inspiration. She provides an introduction, one of her person, as well as one of her classroom’s conduct and expectations; the new tenth grade teacher then asks a student to volunteer sitting in her eclectically upholstered Indian fabric bearing chair in the middle of the classroom, and with an impressionable smile says, “your turn”.

The first day of school is always super neverbreaking. But when my first day of school came…….. I was going to faint. It was the first year I was going to Endeavour. I was coming in the middle of the year, so nobody knew me. My teacher’s name is Mrs. Rucker. I am thinking that she is going to be extremely mean. The whole class already did a ton of work. That meant I would have lots of catching up to do. I knew my mom would help me with it. I’m just nervous that I won’t fit in. I knew that finding friends would be hard. So I walked over to my cousin Gigi. As soon as I saw her, her friends stared at me. Their hair was perfectly slicked back without one piece of hair sticking out. Their clothes were really expensive and neat. I knew that they were going to be the popular girls in the school. I told my cousin I would talk to her later. I didn’t know what to do so I sat on the bench. Then a girl named Valery came up to me and asked if I wanted to be her friend. I was a little nervous but I told her we could be best friends. We were only in first grade so we had a short recess.
It 's the first day of school. Finally here, after the long, hot, steamy days of summer. Its finally time to settle down and focus on my studies. When I woke up early I jumped out of the bed. I opened the blinds and sprinted my way to the bathroom. Normally I would not be so ecstatic for school, but it 's something about this year that really makes me ready. As I went in the bathroom, I noticed it was still dark outside. It was 6:00 in the morning. I should have not gotten up that early. But I dismissed that thought in my head and carried on. As I put my contacts in and did some light make up, I heard my mom through the thin painted walls. “Courtney! Why did you wake up early!” she yelled as she most likely shuffled out of the bed. I heard my dog Jackson come down off the bed with a thump. As I giggled to myself and replied “Because it 's the first day of school mama! Plus i 'm an early bird”. After I waited 5 seconds for a reply I rolled my eyes, In a friendly manner, smiled and carried on. After approximately 15 minutes of preparation I scurried out the bathroom to my bedroom.
The first day of school. Emotions ring through a freshman’s head. “What if I can’t find my classes? What if my teacher doesn’t like me?” are common questions that any freshman asks his or herself. Talking to my friend the night before, she said that public school teachers are mean because they work in a public school. I knew that my first day would consist of mean teachers based of that comment. Although this was not the first time I have heard that statement. A common saying about public schools is, “public school teachers do not care.” However, this is an untrue statement in many ways. My freshman math teacher, Mrs. Aguinaga, taught me not only math, but how a public school teacher should treat students.
