Researchers have conducted many studies on evidence-based behavioral modification programs, with the efforts to increase their success rates within the prison system. The situation in case one, dealing with the 18 year old high school student, would be an appropriate person to implement into a treatment intervention because he will need the additional support and medical support in order to overcome his addiction.

This data identifies what may likely be maintaining the target behavior. In order for data to be collected accurately, all observers must be using the same definition of a behavior or measurement. Intervention/Response: CM received a called from Corporal Williams on Prichard Police Department stating she needs to meet with consumer. CM informed Corporal Williams she will give her a call once she makes it to consumer home. CM traveled to consumer home for the purpose of monitoring and assessing needs. CM was accompanied with CM Shamaiya Williams. CM arrived at consumer home and knocked on the front door. Consumer answered door and met with CM on the front porch. CM contacted Corporal Williams and informed her she was at Consumer home. While waiting for Corporal Williams to arrive CM and consumer discussed consumer medications regimen. The well research Positive Behavior Intervention and Support system has been widely implemented throughout the United States because school feel it is a great alternative to the zero tolerance. Much of PBIS has been implemented in elementary schools and it has shown the younger children react more positively to the system. In fact, Bradshaw estimated there is about 22,000 schools who have taken in this policy (Bradshaw, et al.). This is a large amount of school in the United State who have implemented this policy. School have begun to realize the poorly implemented zero tolerance policy is unacceptable and have shifted to a more proactive plan.
