Being a hero can mean ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Like in A Whale Tale, it’s just an ordinary man that loves study whales and then he saves one’s life. You don’t have to have superpowers to be a hero. All you need is courage and the right opportunity.

Everyone wants to be a hero, but to be one you should fit certain criteria and possess specific qualities. First of all they should be a good role model and have a positive influence on others. Second of all a hero should be determined. Having this quality allows you to stand up for what you believe and overcome any obstacle in your way. Two of these people are your average people that just love helping people in need and one is a well-known football player that got his own award for helping people. A hero is not born; he is made himself. It means that the person who wants to become a hero should start to grow his attributes when he is a child, and improve that day by day. Zimbardo, author of What makes a hero?, said that there was a wonderful nine-years old Chinese boy who was smart and intelligent. In 2008, there was a massive earthquake in China’s Szechuan province.
