Puzzle Processes Promoting Partnership Each stage of puzzle building corresponded with a stage of the Crucible project. Stage one: the class attempted to find a common idea. Stage two: the idea was set in stone, and questions were produced by small groups. Stage three: working hard to finish the project. Stage four was spent finishing and test running the scavenger hunt our class had designed. The stages of puzzle building were dumping out pieces, utilizing specialized groups, working hard to finish in time, and then finishing and helping others. These four stages parallel how our class put together the Crucible project. The Crucible proved that how when groups come together and collaborate things get done. Similarly, the townspeople show less desirable outcomes of collaboration. Each stage in puzzle building was comparable to a stage in the process of our Crucible Company project. The first stage of puzzle building is the hardest, it’s when people struggle, especially if there is no plan. Our class started off the Crucible company project by discussing ideas with raised voices whilst trying to find a common idea. Our ideas were puzzle pieces, and we had dumped them all out and now were scrambling to sort through them. Once puzzle building begins and the timer starts, groups assign roles utilizing specialization and the puzzle building process begins. Our class made sure to divide into groups to try and sort out all of our ideas as well as create questions. Stage two of puzzle building is all about building a solid foundation, the corners. The corners create a basis for the puzzle and pieces than start to click into place easier after that. Our class made sure our ideas were clicking together and designed a solid basis, of questions created by groups, and the scavenger hunt creation started. Stage three, which consists of getting the middle part of the puzzle built and finished. For many groups stage three is one of the harder

As a child, I would image what my life would be like when I became a teacher. In this paper I will explore different developmentally appropriate approaching philosophies, theories, and concepts when teaching math, reading, science and the fine arts to young children across a developmental curriculum. Having to gain knowledge from the early childhood text helped me to create what I consider to be the perfect classroom plan. Preschool education is very important because this is their first experience towards twelve years of grade school. The knowledge they gather will increase as they grow and development.
On April 4, 2011, the Governor of California Edmund G. Brown signed AB 109. Signing this bills redefined felonies and also gives responsibilities to watching over certain criminals and parolees who live in the State or County Prisons. "Public Safety Realignment Act" also know as AB 109 is commonly grouped with bills AB 117 and AB 118 which prevents anyone who commits a Non-Violent Crime, Non-serious, Non-sex offender after the day of October 1 in the year 2011, would no longer be sent to state prison and will instead be placed in a County jail. Anyone who is going to be released from the state prison for committing any of the previous mentioned crimes, will now be placed under supervision of a local County Probation Department and with a state parole officer.

Music is a very powerful expression of emotions that come together as a whole to morph your psychological feelings into a sub-reality vision. Over the many years, history has been able to capture the moments at which music has made an impact on human lives. We can start with Manu Chao the artist that sings about left-wing messages and portrays his concerts as “collective therapy”. Or Juan Gabriel the young man that rose out of poverty to become the world’s most beloved artist/songwriter and whose music carried a resonate flamboyant style. Music is a way of communication that is used in many realms such as entertainment, tradition religion and sporting events. So far this semester, Chic 316 has influenced me to seek a more coherent relationship

A benefit of AB109 is that everyone in society will be able to find solutions in order to guarantee safety for everyone as well has offering several programs as a resource for training offenders. I understand that corrections is consuming a lot of money and that training offenders is costly which is why I can see how it could become a challenge but it is also an opportunity to bring ex-offenders back into society. Thus, ex-offenders will now know how to work in a certain place because they have experience, knowledge, and abilities to succeed in a real life job because of the training that they received thanks to the programs offered because of the AB 109. Thanks to all of the programs offered ex-offenders that want to turn their life around to become a good citizen in the community will hopefully have more opportunities for him or her to be able to turn from a criminal delinquent or offender to a well educated, hard working, and wanting to succeed citizen of society. This therefore will case a decreasing rate of reoffender violations for the community because these individuals want to better themselves.
Another essential point of the ban of ethnic studies was the Arizona’s Anti-Ethnic Studies Bill, SB 1108 that happened in 2008 (Ochoa & Romero 5). The SB 1108 was related to the House Bill 2281 since they both wanted to prohibit classes that had a voice for people of color. The difference was that SB 1108 did not only wanted to ban classes of different ethnicities but also clubs and organizations such as latino fraternities. The bill did not only wanted to ban the courses and organizations from kinder through 12th grade but all the way to college and university. The only ethnicity who was accepted to have these resources were the Native Americans. The ethnicity they most target was the Mexican students since it is the largest culture and
On an ordinary Saturday afternoon, my sister and I made our way to 1st St. and Central Ave. from a failed attempt at another left-to-be-unnamed cultural epicenter, which was a very disappointing trip. Little Tokyo proved to be quite the opposite, as I was able to ascertain a much deeper understanding of the Japanese culture because of it, and at the same time was able to reflect on the differences and similarities of my Filipino heritage. From what I was able to gather, the Japanese and Filipino cultures have quite a few significant differences, but have more similarities than I originally anticipated.
e 262 pilots claimed a total of 542 Allied kills,[8] although higher claims are sometimes made.[Note 1] The Allies countered its potential effectiveness in the air by attacking the aircraft on the ground and during takeoff and landing. Engine reliability problems, from the pioneering nature of its Junkers Jumo 004 axial-flow turbojet engines—the first ever placed in mass production—and attacks by Allied forces on fuel supplies during the deteriorating late-war situation also reduced the effectiveness of the aircraft as a fighting force. In the end, the Me 262 had a negligible impact on the course of the war as a result of its late introduction and the consequently small numbers put in operational
