Globalization is a big part of the world. It is uniting every civilization around the world and allowing for different people to interact. Globalization is occurring in many levels; in a religions level, in a family level, and in a country level. Globalization is happening whether we like it or not. Globalization is allowing countries to interact in different ways that were not possible before.

Globalization refers to the interconnection among countries, politically, economically and culturally. Globalization has come into existence due to the following factors: (i) betterment in transportation and communication, (ii) human and capital mobility, (iii) increasing formation and existence of NGOs and multinational corporations.

Globalization is defined by the Levin Institute as "a process of interaction and integration among people, companies, and governments of different nations." The process itself is really driven by two main components those being international trade and investment.

The definition of globalization, the moving of people, their ideologies, and goods spread throughout the world. Globalization is spreading quickly and more people are being exposed to different cultures and social classes. The American-born poor is not adjusting to the globalization in the United States, the Mark Stroman’s in the United States are not accepting of the globalization and want everything to go back to only white America.

Globalization is a big part of our world working together in unity. It creates alliances and bonds with countries and it can make or break a global friendship. People all over the world are making products, that we use everyday, and only getting paid more or less than a dollar. The people that make our products we use every day are struggling to stay alive and are being treated poorly.

Bend it Like Beckham showed me a lot about modern Indian culture, specifically Indians living in England. In this film, Jess’s Sikh family is very religious. Jess’s sister; Pinky’s wedding was a great example of modern India. You can see the celebrations, the food and the clothing. You can always see the family talking to the painting of Guru Nanak/Babaji and their traditional Indian greetings. Their one goal in life is to have their daughters prepared and ready for marriage. They have expectations to live up to, so they did not like the idea of Jess playing soccer.

Globalization is the process of the world becoming better communicated, which promotes the adoption of common cultural aspects, the international exchange of goods and services, and foreign investments, thus creating a global market and encouraging division of labor.

Globalization is a result of each country around the world, depending on one another for certain products as well as needing them to buy specific exports. Without it, no country can flourish and with it, there will always be inequality. It is something that is vital to our country as well as those around the world.
