“What will I do for the rest of my life?” Everyone has asked themselves that question at one point in life, but what’s your answer? As a sophomore I think about my future all the time. After giving it much thought I have come up with my three plans. Go to college, become an anesthesiologist and helping orphans.
First and foremost, My plan for the future starts of with going to college. Ever since I could walk and talk, I’ve always been jealous of my older sister because she was able to go to school everyday, but I couldn’t because i wasn’t old enough. As soon as I was old enough to go to school I was of course excited. Then when I actually went to school, it wasn’t what I expected at all. You have to wake up way too early in the morning go to class and try not to fall asleep and then hope and pray the teacher doesn’t try to call on you when she knows well that you weren’t paying attention. It only get worse as you progress grades. After all of that though, there is a great reward for surviving high school and that reward is college. I plan to go to Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, study in allied health science and get my Masters degree.

I think that a job should more of a hobby than an occupation. I want to love what I do while inspiring and helping others. An anesthesiologist is what comes to mind when I think of that. As an anesthesiologist it is my job to make sure that my patient is comfortable and feels safe. If you ask high school students what they want to be when they grow up some of them say doctor, others say lawyer and some of them don’t even know yet. Me being an anesthesiologist is something that I’ve thought about for a long time and I can’t imagine myself doing anything
Most people ask the question, "Where do you see yourself in five or ten years?" to determine what you see as your future goals. Before, I would answer this question with the most outlandish responses but as time has gone by, I have grown. I have come to the realization of where I truly envision myself. I see myself aspiring to accomplish my career goal of becoming a Nurse Anesthetist. Now, it may seem ridiculous that I have gone from seeing things such as becoming famous, to actually determining a career for myself. However, I had to transition my process of thinking. I had taken the time to really evaluate my life. I looked back at all the courses I had taken over the course of my undergraduate degree and the trials and tribulations from being
After high school, I plan to attend college for four years, and find a part time job during my time in college. While I attend college, I also plan to continue trying my best to have good grades and a good rank. After college, I plan to find a long term job, and or return back to school to obtain a PhD.
Overall, I just want to be contented with my life in the future and not realize that I am miserable and that I have wasted my life. In the near future, I also aspire to do well in all four years of high school. This also applies to college. Another goal for the future that I have is to get a scholarship for college because of the fact that I want to go to college, but I don't want to drown in college debt.
For my future I just want to be remembered for never giving up and making something out of myself. I want to be a full time nurse and do cosmetology on the side for extra cash here and there. I want to have a beautiful family of two kids and a husband. In my future I want my kids to look at me and see a successful hard working women so they can follow in my footsteps of never giving up. In the future I want to look back and have no regrets, live life to the fullest and continue to follow my dreams no matter who doubts me. I will be successful because that’s the life I
From torn ligaments to occasional bad viruses, I know what it feels like to be the person in the hospital bed. What made those tough times better was the care and empathy of healthcare workers. Growing up, I always knew that I wanted to pursue a career in the medical field. I wanted to live a life of caring, helping, and providing comfort for others in hard times. Any career in the medical field would be one that would complement my character and personality.
Although it may sound cliché, ever since I was a little girl I had the desire to work in the medical field, whether it be a doctor or a nurse. The desire stemmed from listening to my aunt tell stories about operations that she had assisted in, or patients that she had seen and their perplexing ailments. I was never phased by blood, and watching how the human body worked was something that made me excited and eager to learn more. When I was first asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I proudly said, an anesthesiologist. Since that day, I’ve worked hard to reach each milestone that will help me get closer to my goal. My intended future goal is to become a CRNA, which requires the successful completion of my nursing degree.
The world after high school is the real world. Something I can only imagine, but I’ve done my best to plan out the future. The opportunity to do anything I want is a great one, so I planned out the outline of a future I plan on make my reality. I have no idea what lies ahead, but I plan on succeeding. After graduating from high school I plan to return to my high school to be Certified Medical Assistant (CMA certification).
Sneaking up on me, the end of my senior year is starting appearing, the most frequent question I get asked is,” What are you going to do after high school?” That question for me isn't a hard one--in fact, it is rather easy. At the age of 10, I knew I wanted to become some type of teacher, or someone in the medical field, I didn't know what exactly. At the age of 15 I was in an accident that helped me realize what I wanted to become.
Anesthesiology is the science of administering anesthetics. An anesthesiologist is a medical doctor who cares for a patient before, during and immediately following a surgical or medical procedure by administering appropriate anesthesia and monitoring the patient for reactions and complications, and to ensure comfort and manage pain.
The career I am curious about is in the medical field, generally speaking, nursing. I have chosen to become a registered nurse because of its background, and how its characteristics require the use of creativity, problem-solving, social skills, and critical thinking. Registered nurses use various skills to diagnose and apply certain care methods to specific patients. I know that nurses aid patients with various illnesses, diseases, disabilities, and injuries. I love helping people and the feeling I receive when helping people. It would also be very motivating to learn and discover things about the human body and how to fix any problems involving it.
When I graduate for high school I want to go to East Carolina University to become a doctor, because the school is home plus it is one of the best schools that have a medical program, and I can work with babies and young people. I also want to have a small family and get married. I would like to have two kids, one a girl, one a boy or twins. I want to have a better life then what I grew up too plus giving them things that I didn't have. Also be a good role model to my younger brothers. To show them that anything is
When I was younger, I fell off my bed and cracked my head on the bed frame. I was sent to the emergency room and was given stitches. I had to keep going to the doctors for check-ups and me being a child, I was curious of the doctors and always asked them many questions about their occupation. At a young age I became very interested in the medical field. My mother being a surgical technologist and my ex-stepfather being a CRNA, I fell in love with the health care system and that’s when I knew I wanted to help others by becoming a nurse anesthetist.
The work of an anesthesiologist is fulfilling with many benefits. A person would desire to become an anesthesiologist because there is a high standard of excellence due to a low percentage of doctors in this special field, not to mention the high salary. This occupation benefits the doctor through a feeling of personal gratification while receiving a great education. The community benefits through his or her help relieving the pain accompanied by surgery. Becoming an anesthesiologist involves extensive education and training, while also having many requirements and a good salary range.
What I want for my future to be like? In my future I want to graduate with a high school diploma. After high school I want to go to the U.S. Army for Eight years. After that I would like to go to college to become a Pediatrician.
I am not quite sure what I want to do. I will be going to BONDS next year, and get my degree for esthetics. I plan to do esthetics on the side after high school, and continue my job where I work now, at Culver’s of Greer. I love this job and until I know for sure what I will be doing, I plan to still work there. My parents didn’t go to college, but I want to prove to them that I can be responsible and follow through with a large achievement. I would love to be an author, and I plan to take that at Greenville Tech and afterwards, got to a four-year college, such as, North Greenville University. Unless, my career with esthetics pays off. I also thought about being a lawyer. I want to make enough money to be able to gain custody of my younger brother, Brayden.
