Upon further realisation an Occupational Therapy Assistant states that there is no single field that can successfully meet all of a patient’s needs and which then requires that there be collaborative efforts. Another recognition that the Occupational Therapy Assistant expressed was the importance of expertise that the patients bring to the health care process. What does it mean to grow up? Does it mean washing your car, paying your bills, getting a job? Does it mean getting married, having kids, and sprouting gray hair? Is it necessary? Is everyone capable of it? Is it going to be hard and will it be worth the effort? All of these questions are probably what made Peter Pan decide to never leave Neverland. Growing up means a lot of different things to many different people. If we look at the words “growing up”, we simply think of the physical aspect of ageing, growing tall and wide. Ask my teachers, friends, coaches, and family, they’ll all tell you that I’m mature. The way I hold myself responsible for my life, my studies, and my activities through the good and bad is a unique quality about me that they admire, but also know little to nothing about.

So far, the college experience has made me a changed person. College changed me into a better person on many occasions. I have learned to be more responsible, when it comes down to getting work done. In college you must be responsible. I have also changed my attitude. Moving from high school to college is a big step; if you don’t change your ways for the better then you might not be successful in college. We understand that buying costumes can be a tedious task for you as the studio owner. Not only does it take time to sift through costume catalogues to find a piece that speaks to your dances vision, but you also need to consider the costs. Costumes can cost upwards of $75 each, which isn’t too steep of a charge for a child in one class. However, most children take anywhere from 2 to 10 classes a year. That does not include dancers who are part of the competition team, who can perform an additional 10 dances per season.

Remember when we were young and all we could think of was growing up and getting to do ‘grownup’ things? We spent our whole childhood thinking of what we would do when we finally ‘grew up’, and here we are, almost completely grown up and we still haven’t made up our mind of what it is we will do when we grow up. We’ve painted this pretty little picture in our head of what it’ll be like when we eventually do grow up, and when it finally comes for the picture to be taken off the wall and put into action, it’s not nearly as fun as creating the painting.
