Have you ever thought of what would happen to everyone on Earth if Genetically Modified Foods were allowed? According to the World Health Organization, Genetically Modified Foods or Genetically modified Organisms are organisms where the genetic material has been modified in a way that does not occur naturally by mating and/or natural recombination(World Health Organization). Genetically Modified Foods are foods that are altered to give more portions and cause people to earn more money. They also are beneficial to the environment. Because of the extra money that is earned, the benefits it causes for the environment, and how it creates more large portions of it, Genetically Modified Foods should be allowed all over the world. In my paper I am going to discuss the benefits and disadvantages of Genetically Modified Foods and whether or not it’s good for us? Some benefits of Genetically Modified Foods are that they give the farmers greater portions of the food that is being modified. Some of the foods such as plants and animals are modified in many different ways. Plants are sprayed or watered with a certain chemical that keeps bugs away from the food. According to GMO Compass Animals are given food with the chemicals or it is given a shot containing the chemicals that cause the animals to produce more meat or other foods(Meats and Sausage). There are disadvantages as well but not as many as there are advantages. Some disadvantages are that the foods are sometimes not cleaned…
