Living in America could be very interesting. Many people are surrounded by others who do not share the same interest or background as them. People from all over the world could come to America and call it their home. America could be considered the land of the free. Living in multinational United States affects me by having the opportunity to have a large varitey of cuisine, express yourself with the inspiration from other cultures and learn different languages. First, the biggest way I have been affected by living in multinational United States is being able try cuisine from various cultures. It enriches our country because it has the power to bring people from all over the world together. Here in America there is many different food
Historically, American education has really served as both economic and political needs, which verbalized the function of education. Nowadays, sociologists and educators discuss the various roles of education. Many would probably make the assumption that without argument that adequate professional instruction in the education arena is not wholly theoretical, but does involve a particular amount of practical work. The main query as to the latter is the goal with which it shall be lead. With that said, this essay will examine the impact the Sociological theories, Functionalism, Conflict, and Interactionism regarding their impact on education.
Being American is more than having the right to proudly wave a red white and blue flag, more than relief to be apart of a fairly organized government, and it is certainly more than simply a tittle. To have a group of isolated tribespeople understand what it truly means to be American, they would have to understand the American Dream; a dream that was so unique to each individual, it required equal opportunity for all. Three things that represent what it means to be a unique dreamer in the pursuit of happiness are snails, Ford T car model, and fireworks.
I have always felt that moving to America was a big distant dream. The impact of living there is not knowing the culture and how it really is. My idea of an American lifestyle is only what I have seen through movies. I never thought I would spend the rest of my life over there, away from family and friends, until it actually happened
To be an American means that you are living in peace and freedom. Americans Heave freedom of religion, work, and anything else you can think of. America offers jobs to anybody. America is a fantastic place and I think anyone who lives here would agree to tell you the same. Being an American is a privilege, and I will do whatever it takes to preserve that right as long as I live.
I like United States for three things: multiculturalism, colleges, and travel is easy. First, I like United States multiculturalism because I can meet someone from many other country and learn about their culture and traditions. Also, when there are enough people from that country settled in various parts of the United States, we can find restaurants, cultural organizations and ethnic stores that anyone can visit to learn more about diverse, global lifestyles. For a thing that in Sacramento, we have many Vietnamese people living nearby and around Florin Road, Stockton Blvd. When we drive around there, we can easy to see a lot of Vietnamese restaurants, stores, pharmacy... It make me feel like I’m living in Vietnam. Second, I like colleges in
When I came to America with my daughter, I was received by my husband who had been away from us for six years. We were excited to finally meet again. The land of all possibilities as my husband calls it was to change my life significantly. American way of life has changed my life in terms of social status, psychological welfare and educational status.
America is wrong letting the illegal immigrant come into the country. First off, illegal immigrant do not belong here because if you want it to be a part of a country you should find the proper way to get in and become a real citizen, not trying to come in illegally. In the episode, the people who come in illegally tend to have a low wages labor job, which is illegal in US. This example shows that when one illegal thing happen, it's usually a start for more illegal thing to happen. Another reason illegal immigrant do not belong here because coming in illegally is basically shows that they're poor or has no place to be in their old country, that's why they want a fresh start somewhere. Especially in US, the daily expense and other things are
Fireworks cracking and lighting up the sky, hot dogs cooking on the grill, and a cold drink in a red, white, and blue paper cup. It is the forth of July, Independence day, the day Americans put all of their worries to the side to celebrate the freedom of the country that they live in, America. Those who live in the USA may experience more freedom and comfort then those who live in other parts of the world. America is highly praised for their education, diverse crowds, and socially accepting everyone despite their race, religion, or special needs.
Being an american is the best feeling because if you are an american citizen then you are free.
Thank you so much for a great post! I think you did a great job emphasizing the benefits of trade as well as the negative impact on business and the economy in a lot of nations if the trade was suddenly cut off.
Immigration has played a big role thru out the United States history. Since the 1850’s when the Chinese migrated to the U.S. and worked in the railroads to today’s date, immigrants have contribute to building America. There is an estimate of 11.7 million Immigrants in the U.S. trying to make a better living. Many of them work in different environment. Many people have different opinions towards immigrants. Some believe that having immigrants in the U.S. it’s bad for the work industry and for the country. Other’s believe that having immigrants in the U.S. actually helps the economy. It’s better for the United States to help immigrants than try to get rid of them. People think that the U.S. lose money taking care of immigrants. In today’s date
From the perspective of an American, or someone that sees America only as a giant world powerhouse, America would probably seem like a highly competitive country in academics and education, one that leads in testing and high scores. And why wouldn’t it? America tends to top the world in innovations and new ideas, along with the fact they have some of the most prestigious universities and colleges in the world. Americans are raised in a country that leads by example in a multitude of things, but education is not one of them. In fact, America doesn’t even compete on an average level, with results, recent and old, showing America and its students falling close to the back and not making any progress in catching up. As countries around the world continue to progress and raise
While I'm no fan of multinationals in general, there are exceptions that need to be considered. One example of a multinational entity that truly benefits a peripheral nation is the luthier Robert Rey of Olympia, Washington (Luthiers are instrument builders, in this case Rob focuses on making violins and bows). Rather than having goods made in sweatshops, he has developed a relationship with luthiers in Beijing that run shoppes similar to his. He pays them to make celli and bows for him (Rey, Rob. personal communication 2016); which he can sell at low prices due to the disparity of the economies of China
For the American economy the future looks bleak. The future of the economy is for corporations to go global and it's happening right now. Many companies are outsourcing tasks to employees in foreign countries and getting rid of many jobs in America because they can make a bigger profit having other people in foreign countries perform the same work for less cost. To improve our economy and create more jobs the Obama administration have been negotiating three new bills known as the Transatlantic Trade investment Partnership, Trans-pacific Partnership, and the Trade in Services Agreement. These bills all have a large amount of secrecy around them and not much is known about them other than information that has been leaked by public officials,
For many, childhood is filled with curiosity, innocence, naughtiness and simple happiness. You don't realise how precious and valuable this component of life is until a little bit is sacrificed. Although, my chipped childhood had loads of responsibility to offer to a little girl, it definitely was a major contribution to shaping me, in a positive way.
