My experiences are closely aligned to these views; therefore, I feel I can contribute my own

Being inducted into National Honors Society requires a student to demonstrate all of the four qualities many of our role models in the present and in the past have possessed, which include: scholarship, service, leadership and character. As I’m considered a candidate for this group, I already possess the quality of scholarship and it is my duty in this paper to show that I hold the other three important attributes needed to qualify for this institution.

I am privileged to be one of the remarkable students qualified to join Eureka High School’s National Honor Society. I have been looking forward to applying to this organization as it provides influential help in our society. I would be privileged to join this distinguished association because it would provide me with opportunities to get involved in my community. As a hardworking, helpful, and friendly individual, I feel that I would make an auxiliary member to this organization. I demonstrate the qualities that are necessary to join this prestigious society, including leadership, character, scholarship, and service.

Before I started my first semester of college I made sure that my academic and career goals were set to avoid indecisiveness. One of my intellectual objectives has always been to be a part of the honors college. Deep in my heart I know I have what it takes to be in an organization of students that excel with integrity. Furthermore, the benefits that come along with being a student within the honors college can assist me with getting through my scholastic agenda which includes internships, scholarships and honorary mentions.

One important activity on the list, is being involved in the National Honors Society. This organization recognizes scholars and well-rounded students in middle and high school. These students better themselves at being active community members and exhibiting profound leadership skills. I have the opportunity to be a part of this nationally known organization.

The National Honors Junior Society is one of the nation's prime organizations established to acknowledge outstanding middle school students. In order to be eligible to be a part of this society, students must exhibit certain achievements in different areas. Students must demonstrate excellence in areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. The purpose of this prestigious organization is to provide a strong foundation for building leadership skills through service to the school and the surrounding community. I should be a part of this society because I believe I posses great leadership, scholarship, character, citizenship, and service qualities.

Honors College Essay: In its mission statement, the UIC Honors College is described as a community of scholars whose goal is to enrich the education experience of undergraduates and allow the faculty and students of all disciplines to interact in teaching, learning and research. The National Honors Society boasts of members with significant academic accomplishments, selfless hours of community service, and strong leadership capabilities as a representative of the school’s excellence. Becoming a member of the National Honors Society is a prestigious honor. As a student, I strive for excellence in my academics and have made the honor roll every quarter, showing my aim and dedication to reaching my highest potential. I try not to compete with other students, but with myself. My academics are the result of my hard work, and my dedication towards grades correlates to the dedication I have towards becoming a leader and a role model for the community.

I am honored to be selected by the teachers as well as the staff of Ellenville Central High School for the consideration of becoming a member of the National Honor Society. The National Honor Society accepts the most qualified students who are recognized for their academic excellence and achievements throughout their high school career, showing academic discipline; these students are focused on being the most prestigious members of their society. How are you? I have a problem that isn't really a problem, but I do not really have anyone to ask for advice on who can give solid advice. I am in the Honors Program here at HFC but I am running into the problem of they want me to be here much longer than I ever wanted to due to courses they want me to take but do not transfer and they are not offering me a scholarship at a 4.0 GPA so it is coming out of pocket. This limits my ability to take transfer courses at the rate I would like to. Do you think it is worth the wait and cost to take courses that do not transfer and stay in Honors Program or no? I am conflicted on the subject because it looks good if I stay but at the same time puts me in a spot where I am pushing my transfer application
