Benjamin Franklin Major Accomplishments

The world as they knew it was going to change, the date was January 17, 1706, a boy who was named Benjamin was born to a married couple by the name of Franklin, in Boston, Massachusetts. Many people will normally remember him as, “the first American” or “ the man who discovered electricity” or even “freedom man” because Franklin literally means freedom. Although many of those accomplishments were in his later life, his early life, accomplishments and other interesting things would mold him into the man he was when the many great inventions of him were made. Ben Franklin’s life started like many others of that time with just one small difference, an extremely high IQ of 160. Because James did not like that Ben was already a better writer and printer than he was, he often mistreated him and also would not let him publish anything in the newspaper which was called the “New England Courant”. Because of this Ben would secretly write letters to the print shop, using the fake name of “Silence Dogood”, which included many good bits of advice and, James’ favorite, criticisms against many institutes, some as pretentious as the university of Harvard! As many people would agree, Ben had a great number of accomplishments in his early life as well as his later life. Ben Franklin was and always will be, in my opinion and the opinion of many others, one of or maybe the greatest inventor in the United States at that time.
