Kurt was floating in the middle of the sea on a plank of wood. His thoughts were not on his empty stomach, his ripped clothes or on his pruny skin. His thoughts were on something even he didn’t fully know. But, how exactly did Kurt get himself into this appalling situation in the first place? By surprise, a storm hit when he had been sailing with his crewmates to Krawk Island. The sky was dark and the thunder roared, his crew was searching for him, yelling his name and trying to spot him through the harsh waves, although, they were not successful. In spring of 1994, the deceased body of Kurt Cobain, one of the famed members of the band Nirvana, was discovered in his Seattle, Washington residence. Authorities had found that Cobain's lifeless body had been lying there for at least two days before being discovered. Cobain's death was ruled a suicide after a note and shotgun were found in close proximity to his body. Many fans of Nirvana were struck with disbelief after hearing the saddened news of the beloved band member. Shortly before Cobains murder, he had publicly stated that he had previously considered suicide, as well as falling into a coma following an overdose from drugs and alcohol.
