Throughout Beowulf many chivalrous and exhilarating deeds take place, captivating the reader. My personal favorite part of the story is the introduction to the savior of Heorot and the hero of the tale, Beowulf. I liked this part for two main reasons. Initially, I admired the ridiculous strength and ultimate power of Beowulf. According to the story, he also stood significantly taller than any man. Also, he possessed seemingly infinite strength, each arm worth that of thirty normal men. Next, I appreciated the various tales he told to prove himself to the king and people. I enjoyed this because it gave an insight into times before resumes, where men had to prove themselves worthy of positions or jobs. As my favorite section, this part of the
