After Jon Bernthal made his debut in Daredevil as a man out for revenge, Netflix decides to give him his own show. What could be better than Marvel’s own The Punisher getting a spin-off and stand alone series? But many question this decision. Would Frank Castle’s show dwell on his origin story or his life of crime? His beginnings are already a part of Daredevil’s show. However, Bernthal did say that Frank’s story is not yet fully out there. Which means there is more to discover behind that skull X-ray. Which brings us to why The Punisher is probably better than the other Netflix and Marvel collabs. For one, Screen Rant already confirms the addition of three cast members. Ebon Moss-Bachrach takes on the role of Microchip. Micro is an NSA
I still remember watching the final episode of The Wire, feeling that it was a unique show that wouldn't possibly have a match in the field. I reasearched on similar shows and I finally found out about The Shield. It's another cop/crime show, and you can see that the world is almost the same. Yes, characters are not identical and there are more numbered in The Wire, but there's still that feeling- the feeling of watching real life going on in front of you.
Is this modern concept much different than other stories we have grown up watching from an early age? I believe there are many similarities in stories of superheroes and comic many of us grew up reading and watching on Saturday mornings. Batman, a well-known super hero, fought crime in Gotham and was the “Dark Knight” that restored peace in his community. While Batman did not kill the criminals he was chasing after he did bring them to justice!
Jay knew his opponent being much taller and much bigger would've been a great disadvantage, so he utilized his ferocious hand speed, foot agility, with a tight fist to land knockout shots to whatever opened on his body. They fought bare knuckle in a street fight.
The two villains from this week’s stories “Where are you going, Where have you been?” and “A good man is hard to find?” have lots of things in common and somethings different. Both villains are very evil and make their victims feel afraid and scared.
It is not just the victim, viewers will come to know about. There will be a lot more. According to reports, the seventh season will give fans an entirely new outlook on the show as they will see some novel events which are not even part of the comic book series. The show is all geared up to set new benchmarks and acquire some of the biggest ratings in the history of cable television.
There’s no question that the battle between comic book companies will never end. But nothing stands out more than the feud between Marvel and DC. With both companies, having their ups and downs, we can only compare whose moment is now, and whose moment is coming. With character development and storylines are too opinionated to compare, like comparing an apple with an orange, we can only judge on who’s making more money.
Frank took a construction job immediately he got out of jail. Yet, the government was relentlessly trying to build up their case against frank. They followed him everywhere he went. They had surveillance both at his job and at his home. Frank was not allowed any privacy again. Such was the life Frank had to endure daily, until the fall of 2013 when the government finally presented Frank with their final proposition—three years in prison or go to trial. Frank chose to go to trial to secure his freedom once and for all, albeit the
getting rid of the criminals. But, he can also be seen as a villain due to his cold blooded behavior in eliminating criminals. The Punisher’s biggest belief is that the law is unreliable and criminals cannot be changed. But, is the Punisher a hero or villain?
In a recent interview with Comicbook.com, Loeb admitted that he is happy with Bernthal's performance as The Punisher.
Yet another iconic superhero from Marvel’s comic universe has joined the small screen. Brian Truitt from the USA, Today writes an article on how the widely infamous antihero, known as the Punisher, comes to the Netflix original series season 2’s, Daredevil. The actor who plays as the Punisher, also known as Frank Castle in the show, is Jon Bernthal. He primarily focuses on playing the man before he turns into the Punisher. Frank Castle is a man in New York City getting his vengeance on those who slaughtered his family. It is an origin story that will show the evolution of the Punisher. However, Frank Castle is getting revenge in a city where a superhero blind vigilante already exists and protects the city by the name of Daredevil who is played
As society changes around us, we spot things we never noticed before: high divorce rates, murder rates, and drug use just to name a few. James Riddley-Scott and Mary Shelley noticed and had a fear of child abandonment. In Frankenstein, Shelley explores this subject through the viewpoint of a man, Victor, who creates a child so hideous that he cannot bear to look at it, and consequently deserts it. In Blade Runner Scott explores this matter through a businessman, Tyrell, who makes replicants of humans, the Nexus 6, gives them only four years to live, and sells them as slaves. The children of these creators turn out to be smarter and more human than expected, and revolt against the way society treats them, giving us all a lesson in

Certainly, we watch many movies from time to time. We watch movies to entertain us, get out of reality, or just to kill time. Two of my favorite movies are The Dark Knight and Man of Steel. The Dark Knight is a hero who goes by the name of batman also known as Bruce Wayne and fights crime this film was directed by Christopher Nolan. Man of Steel is also a superhero who goes by the name of superman also knows as Clark Kent fighting crime is also what this character does, Zack Snyder was who directed this film. While these two characters have many similarities, the also have dissimilarities.
“I don’t think it’s just a continuation, but we haven’t gotten that far,” Greenblatt said. He would welcome Lawless’ help with the reboot, but only behind the scenes. He felt that her presence on the show might take away from the new direction of the series. “I’m not sure how she could be part of it if she wasn’t playing Xena, and I don’t know if that’s a direction we’ll ever go,” said Greenblatt.
The most well known Superheroes from the DC universe are probably Batman and Superman. Many times, hardcore DC comic book fans dispute over who the better superhero is. Many like Batman for his gadgets and others for his looks, while others like Superman for his powers and abilities. I would personally say that Superman is the more capable and better Superhero.
