The whole entire year is very cold. Most of the time the temperatures drop to below freezing. Almost every day it snows except for during the summer. You have to stay inside if it is windy, because there are flakes of snow and ice the can sting and scratch your skin. The soil there is very moist, because the snow on top of it melts into the ground.

It is one of the stormiest places in the world. Much of the land is mountainous, they are not as high as those further north, however, they are incredibly steep. They rise straight up, covered with snow and glaciers. Some of these glaciers are as much as a million years old, and through a process called calving, some pieces break off of the glacier and have a deep-blue color. This color indicates that they are extremely compressed and nearly all the oxygen has been squeezed out of them. The climate in these regions is a little milder and the temperatures are a little warmer inside the land.
If one would prefer to go shopping, there is Oaks mall and Creekside mall close by. There are a variety of museums, organizations, and, due to the high tourism in the area, never a lack of restaurants or activities nearby.
