A freshman in High School, Hannah Corbat had lived on many streets during her 15 years of life. She lived in Swooping Eagle ct, Lotus, Brookchase Ln and Patten. She has a younger brother in elementary school, an older sister at the University of Florida, and her father is in the United States Navy. Hannah enjoys reading and cooking with her mother. Hannah also enjoys drawing and painting at home and even at school.

Bethany Hamilton screamed "I got attached by a shark". Her friend Alana, her dad Holt, and her brother Bryan rushed to get to her. Holt got there first, staring at her arm being gone, but stops because he knew if he didin't hurry she would die of blood loss. Bryan called 911, and waited for the ambulance. When the ambulance came, they rushed to get her to the hospital. A couple of hours went by, Bethany got out of surgery. After all the visits and stuff she asked when can she get back in the water? The Doctor said it would take a long time for her to get use to having only one arm. The doctor talked a lot but all she could think of was the ocean. Thats when she made a promise to be on a surfboard by Thanksgiving Day.

Tina has worked at head start for 8 years. While she worked there she was an assistant teacher, who dealt with the kids who had down syndrome. It has given her a special bond. She says, “If any of my kids have a child with down syndrome, the minute they have it at the hospital I will take it. Thankfully for me, that particular person came to be a minute before I came into this world. My twin sister Kayla Skye Horton is truly my other half in life for an endless amount of reasons. Bethany Hamilton is an American professional surfer who survived a 2003 shark attack in which her left arm was bitten off. On the morning of October 31, 2003, Bethany went out to surf at Tunnels Beach in Ha'ena with her best friend, Alana Blanchard, and Blanchard's father and brother. While lying on her board,she suddenly felt intense pressure on her left arm and was pulled back and forth for a few seconds. Originally feeling no pain, she noticed the water around her had turned red, and her friends realized that her left arm had been bitten off nearly to the shoulder. The process of healing after that was challenging and hard for her, but she overcame it with her faith in God and hard work.
