Have you ever wondered how the light bulb works? Do you know the genius brain behind the creation of the light bulb? It is a simple but really useful thing that can help us to pass our daily life. Edison is the man. He is one of the greatest inventors in the history. His creation had changed the world a long time ago. He was known to be one of the people with the most perseverance and patience. The light bulb we know today is one of his greatest and most influential inventions. Without his perseverance and patience, he won’t be as successful as the world knows him today. The light bulb he invented helps us see in the dark.

Edison had tries approximately 1400 times. If he had just given up on his 1399th tries, we wouldn’t have the light bulb to help us see. Edison didn’t create the light bulb itself. Edison was just improvising the entire component in the light bulb so it can be more useful. Edison invented the incandescent light bulb made up of carbonized plant fiber for the filament. Incandescent light bulb is an electric light that produces light with the wire on the middle heated to a high temperature until it can glow. The light bulb first created had too much energy and not suitable for home use. Edison wanted to make a more efficient light bulb that is suitable for home use. At first, Edison uses a platinum filament in the bulb. The light bulb work but it can only stand for about three-and-a-half hours. Edison then planned to use the tungsten, but he couldn’t do it because lack of tools needed. One day when he was sitting in his lab, Edison thought of to use a carbon filament. The light bulb works and it can stay longer, thirteen-and-a-half hours. Since that time, Edison kept on experimenting and experimenting about the materials used for the filament.
