If you want something, go get it. Period.” --Will Smith (The Pursuit of Happiness, Film) I always wonder that what would my life be like at this point without this story? I like telling others the stories of mine locked deeply inside and describe that I was born twice: first, as a baby girl, on a fairly sunny day in October of 1996 in Taiyuan; secondly, as a Grade 11 student move to the United States in August of 2014. Over and over, sharing it with other not because of what extraordinary story is, but because of the things that happen to me and change me in many aspects. For me, there is a clear, bright line between two stages of my life, which is the period from 09/2013 to 08/2014. Before that, I have no idea about my future, the only thing I know is learning. Because of the large population in China, students are under a huge competitive pressure, especially the high school students. In order to go to our dream college, I used every seconds to study and slept only 5 hours every day. I worked hard every day and did well in every field, took part in various competitions between Math and Chemistry, between English and Physics.
