Another candidate with a strong record of advocacy for college affordability is Bernie Sanders, my personal favorite. Bernie has called for tuition-free courses for freshman and sophomores at public universities. He recently developed a plan to provide $18 billion per year in federal grants. “We must fundamentally restructure our student loan program,” Bernie stated. Sanders’ main concern is with how the American government will be able to afford increased funding for higher education. “We need a revolution in the way higher education is funded,” Senator Sanders said recently during a speech.

President Barack Obama introduced his America’s College Promise proposal to make community college tuition-free for students in January, but Finger Lakes Community College (FLCC) President Barbara Risser did not bring it up with the collegewide governance body until October. A change in college tuition is definitely required for American students and the students around the world to have a better education at low cost.

She needed someone to support her and her family emotionally, physically, and financially just for her to graduate with an Associate’s degree (202-16). It took a lot of time and effort for Mrs. Whitiker to get out of the place she was born into, and at times it looked like she would never get out, but she pushed forward, and lucked out.
