Within the play Macbeth, Shakespeare uses many objects throughout the play. Blood is used to represent many thing like guilt and betrayal. Blood is used in many ways with the same theme of guilt and betrayal.
In Macbeth a tragic play by William Shakespeare uses blood as a symbol to help in force the theme of betrayal. By saying, "Will all great Neptune's ocean wash this blood clean from my hand? No, this my hand will rather the multitudinous seas incarnadine making the green one red (II.ii.61-62)." From the quote Macbeth fells the guilty from him betraying Duncan, and that guilt will never do away as well as corrupting his mind. With this feeling of guild, Macbeth's choices
