This is because to work in a team or in a company one of the main goal is there is some kind of input, then we need to process that input to get some kind of output. I am an MIS major but I will never know what kind of job I am gone be having or what kind of department I am gone be working. So knowing what throughput will help me to know the rate at which a system generates money through sales. For example it can be at school or work people can work in different groups and all group members can deliver there finished task in different time so if there is some one that I not doing their task equally with the other team mate that means this one person is gone be the bottleneck. Because it gone affect all group and they may not finish the task on time. As a group it good to know and identify the bottleneck as soon as possible, because time is not our friends we need to figure out our weakness and fix it. So knowing all this key application it will answer the question in my future career? It will tell us what to change,
