The play that I recently watch was called Boom, it was directed by Gail Dartez (who holds a MFA from Yale school of Drama), and I have to say for a college level play, it was acted, directed, and written pretty well. I mean I’m not much of an expert but the play definitely didn’t have me looking at my phone for a second. Boom is just another classic story about Armageddon, with interesting turn of events and plot twists. Peters armageddon production based on past events was not only intense, but it was really successful in bringing an old story and trying to make it a new one. The costumes, set and acting were vital and dramatic in pulling off the desired effect. But the most important aspect of it all was to used it all together, with unbelievable attention to detail. And I feel as though if you do a great job on the set design then you set yourself for up for a successful play and also you capture the audiences attention and that will go along way. And I strongly felt that the way the stage was set up, it was really well thought out, particularly the background. Steven Decker, who was the set designer really brought out the feel of having being in jules (played by Ryan King) subterranean university research lab. The little attention to detail, from cabinets being where they are suppose to be, the only slight problem I had was the table that was in front of the couch, felt like that didn't need to be set there, made the place seem out of
