Visiting a different island in the Caribbean each summer has always been a family tradition of mine. The first few years never failed to make me fall in love with each and every one of them, but once my family suggested on visiting Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the eighth year, my thoughts were not so hyped. Going to the same sea each year can get old and boring. When we finally got to Punta Cana, falling in love was too short of a term to describe what I felt for it. As soon as we landed we were greeted with songs and happiness all around. The nobleness lingering in the atmosphere, coconut smell in the air, and architecture went beyond my imagination.
Long before the Florida Turnpike and the Interstate Highway System ramped up to full speed and swampland in Central Florida was paved over, Florida tourist venues and roadside attractions were an eclectic mix of fun, imagination, intrigue and amazement for everyone. From reptile farms, tropical gardens and aquatic springs to dolphin shows, old west towns and museums of the unique and strange, tourists visiting Florida were able to catch, either by design or on a whim, these venues, as they rolled down US highways 1,19, 41, 301 and all the off-the-beaten-path back roads. But as time marched on, so did the tourist, as they stayed on the interstate and headed for Orlando, to see what all the hub-bub was about in the early 1970s. The venues and attractions may be long gone, but they are not forgotten, as memories of the wonderful tourist and roadside attractions that were a piece of Florida history, are recalled.
The tortoises weigh a lot, the crabs are extremely strong, and the fish come in many different shapes and sizes. This paragraph feels a lot like a zoo, filled with animals and wonders. The giant tortoises can weigh up to 250 kilograms. The giant tortoises are also herbivores. When they poop on the ground, a certain grass called “turtle turf” grows. The coconut crabs are another animal. Their claws are so strong, that they can crack coconuts. They can also be as long as a meter as well. They are usually out in the early morning and the evening because it isn’t as hot, which could make them cook in their shells. Fish and octopi live in the coral reefs. The fish can range from ferocious to snappers to butterfly fish. The giant groupers and the octopi lurk in every crack and crevice. The animals complete the island. From tortoises to crabs to birds. The turtles weigh 250 kilograms, and the crabs can crack coconuts. The animals are unique, beautiful, and interesting. If these animals don’t go extinct, Aldabra will be full of
Beginning and advanced snorkelers find underwater life inspiring. Three areas provide choice to visitors. First, the clear water of the shallow lagoon offers experience and safety for beginners and the timid. Second, the Inlet with its strong current and rocky line remains popular and challenging. Finally, Monster Hole drops to 30 feet deep 30 to 40 yards off the jetty for experienced snorkelers.
First and foremost, I would visit Florida, because they have a dolphin cruise you can take to see the dolphins. I would visit Florida, because they have a dolphin cruise you can take to see the dolphins. When you have found a spot to see the dolphins the people give you a bowl of tiny fish to throw up and feed the dolphins. After they give you the fish you leave the doc to go see the dolphins. When you get out to see the dolphins you may see a few sharks to. When you throw the dish out the dolphins
Once done exploring the island’s trails, we take a break for lunch on board the boat. The afternoon is reserved for snorkeling, swimming and relaxing on the beach. Friendly sea lions line the shores and swim besides you when snorkeling. Other under water creatures that are common to the area are sharks, rays, and colorful schools of fish; darting in every direction after being startled by new faces and the movement of the
On Maui there is a resort called Honua Kai Resort, people can wake up every morning to nice sea breeze coming through their beach house windows, you can open the backdoor and see the beautiful ocean. One historical landmark is Montage Kapalua Bay, you can go snorkeling there. Here is a local describing the view “Circling a rotund tower of vibrant coral, I spotted a Hawaiian green sea turtle, tucked snuggly under a shelf in the ornate tangle of reef beneath me. A grouchy-looking, dappled moray eel poked its open mouth and bright eyes out from a hole in the collection of lobe coral beside me while a school of endemic Hawaiian damselfish fluttered above, sparkling in shafts of streaming Maui sunlight” (Nelson 48). "If you wanted to see an octopus walk
to the museum. if you wanted to do anything other then fish, you had to travel to
6. It’s possible to get to the islands by boat, but mostly all visitors travel by air for convenience.
The Great Barrier Reef is iconic. It has a central place in Australian culture and psyche, and a visit to the reef is reliably rated among the top three must do experiences in international surveys. The Great Barrier Reef has continued to evoke wonder and awe in visitors, from the earliest European explorers negotiating the “monstrous labyrinth of coral” by sailing ship, to the thousands of tourists who arrive annually to experience one of the natural wonders of the world.
There are the tourists—those who seek temporary relaxation, or famous sights. There are the travelers—those who wander, without aim, for the love of moving. There are the explorers—those seeking adventure, the thrill of unearthing things rarely seen.
A. Main-Point #1: Let us begin with what I am sure is on everyone’s mind right now, Italian food.
It may sound like a slight cliché but this is an experience that you will truly never forget, as you feel such unity with nature and this cannot be explained until you have witnessed it yourself. You start to think “maybe this is how life should be lived?” A life without worries, responsibilities or stress, a life that is to be lived out how you want, without any authoritative figure forcing you how to live, presenting you with an immense urge to just leave the dull and dark cruel society that we are faced with everyday to go and discover the kind of rare tranquillity that can be found in an such an incredible place unfound and unscathed by the greed of man. The crystal clear sea, the incredible exotic creatures and the peaceful life style of the Caribbean is what makes it so remarkable.
Other than the sheer beauty of the coral, one of the most fantastic parts of the reef is the wildlife. Some of the wildlife that can be seen on the Great Barrier Reef is 30 species of dolphins, porpoises, and whales including the Pacific
