Explain the distinction between climate & weather. Using this concept, explain why an individual hurricane or summer heat wave is not in of itself proof of global warming? a.

Climateis: a measure of the average pattern of variation in temperature,

humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind, precipitation, atmospheric particle count and other meteorological variables in a given region over long periods of time.

Weather:the state of the atmosphere at a place and time as regards heat, dryness, sunshine, wind, rain, etc

c. Individual weather changes does not mean that it was affected by the global climate
