Bread on the Burger I’m from the stage that feels like home. The wear and tear of the shoes is the admantian it takes to get there. The clutching of our hands before you go on stage prepares you to take flight into a mission you thought would be too tough. The achievement is just another reason to try harder, to stay on top. When you collapse you are never afraid to get back up and start over. Sometimes failing is the only way to thrive! I’m from being the bread on the burger, summing it all up. From having to halt for them behind me as I’m proceeding on my own path. From having to help the youthful as they bewail when they fall screaming, “Help!” as I get up to advise them. There like bees herding around me that won’t go away. I’m from the

Nearly 50 billion cheeseburgers/burgers are eaten per year, which means on average an American eats three burgers a week. My favorite meal would have to be a homemade cheeseburger with mash potatoes, fruit (strawberries and honeydew), and to top things off a fresh glass of sweet tea. All foods have their healthy and non-healthy factors but do you really know how your food is really affecting your body?
Family owned and operated: Whataburger began in 1950 when Harmon Dobson opened a tiny burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas. From day one, he believed that valuing his employees would ensure the success of the company. They are still family-owned and operated and everyone who works at Whataburger is considered a Family Member. Family-owned businesses are central to the American economy. Customers seemingly want things faster and cheaper than ever before. New technologies offer great promises but come with much risk if you are on the bleeding edge. Processing all of this can be overwhelming. Business leaders need to see what’s coming down the
The 1920s was a hard and painstaking era in American history. Many family's throughout New York lived in absolute poverty and saved week to week just to make enough to eat and pay the rent. Many Immigrants flooded the streets desperate for work while living conditions were harsh and many starved. This is just the case of the novel Bread Givers, written by Anzia Yezierska. Before the world existed all the animals lived in the Great Sky World. The animals were divine beings that could live forever. Mother was kind and gentle, and yet was able to work hard to keep the animals pleased and the Sky World taken care of.
I chose Bob's Burgers because I was already a fan of the show and an active watcher. Last summer I binged watched all the seasons that were on Netflix so I was very familiar with the show and all the characters. The show aired on Sunday nights at 9:30 which fit perfectly into my school and work schedule. March 26th aired two episodes back-to-back and from that point on episodes aired at 7:30pm instead of 9:30pm.
A favorite memory I had was when I was around 7 years old. My dad and I went to Lee's Sandwiches and I had my dad get me hot wings instead of a sandwich. After I got my wings (yum!), I left it on the table and followed my dad to the register again to pickup his sandwich. When we came back, the hot wings were gone and we saw a homeless man run away with it outside. My dad ran after him and quickly stopped him, and after I caught up with him, I saw the man apologizing and on the verge of tears. In the middle of his apology, my dad pulled out a $20 bill and handed it over to him, saying he should take it and keep the chicken wings. The man changed his tearful apology to an even more tearful thank you, but my dad just walked away. I never got another

People usually have a specific item that identifies their personality. It may certainly be more than one item. Whatever the case may be, that item(s) represents in part or in whole that certain individual. In the same way, every culture has something that identifies them. The item could be either a tangible or an abstract object so as long as it calls to mind the culture as soon as one sees it or after it is explained to them. For this project however, I have chosen a tangible artifact. The artifact that I have chosen is bread.
