One of their alternative strategic operation plans has already come to fruition. BBW announced in late 2010 that they have partnered with a children’s licensing company called Squared Entertainment. In this agreement, Squared Entertainment will be helping Build-A-Bear create a stronger external licensing program that includes merchandise to be sold outside of their retail locations. The merchandise will include DVD’s, apparel, books, and accessories. In addition to this, new programming will be created to expand upon some of the holiday edition Build-A-Bear characters. BBW’s operations strategy is going to continue to expand by adding more new global retail locations as well as in the U.S. As stated by Axler (2010), “The company has decided to increase capital spending by $4m to $12m from last year’s level of $8m for upgrades to infrastructure as well as the opening of 3 new stores, two stores in the UK in the fall and one new format store in the US” (para. 7). The BBW retail locations are operated by teams of associates. Each associate has a title like Bearitory Leader or Honey Manager. As stated by the Build A Bear website, (2012) “We are an organization that values teamwork. We listen and learn from each other, and we reward and recognize great accomplishments and extra
Vermont Teddy Bear was founded by John Sortino, who began selling plush bears from a mall kiosk in Burlington and a few years later turned the company into a multi-million dollar business. Throughout the years, VTB has had some major successes, such as the implementation of its ‘Bear-Gram’ service, which allows customers to call a toll-free number and order a personalized bear. In addition, VTB has expanded beyond teddy bears and into other successful managed brands like flower delivery and clothing (pajamas). However, the company has also faced some adversity after going public including off-seasonal jams, partnership failures (Zany Brain), and a rise in competitors, which has reflected in VTB’s overall market share. Since then VTB has repurchased its stock.

Love exists in the short story “The Bear Came Over the Mountain” by Alice Munro and in the short story “What We Talk About When We Talk About Love” by Raymond Carver. in Munro’s short story the plot is that of a mentally ill wife, Fiona, who falls in love with another patient while her husband still tries to hang on to their old love. Her husband eventually wants to have an affair with the wife of the man his wife is having an affair with. Their love changed because of their circumstances due to ill health. Carver’s story discusses the different definitions of love due to the type and quality of relationships; everyone has a different definition. Love also exists all over the world within different environments and cultures. The concept of love depends upon the environment in which it inhabits. Love is dependent on the life of the people in love and it also depends on their current environment. Nature and nurture are also huge factors into the development and process of love. What nature and nurture mean is whether it is due to how the person lives and acts along with their personality compared to whether it’s all in their genetics beforehand. Love is more on the nurture side instead of the nature side of human experience.

Tourists appear in Yellowstone National Park to see the world’s geysers and to observe the wildlife. Most people go to observe the animals and take pictures while they are there, but what they do not know is that it can be threatening. While people are taking pictures they do not know the proper precautions about being close to them. People do not know how the bears will react based upon spotting you. Although, there would be less attacks, bears should not be removed because it is there natural habitat, people are desensitizing bears, and bears attacking have been a defensive act.
Take a second and imagine a scenario. Imagine a young boy, only eight years old moving back to the city in which he was born, a city that he barely remembered. Now imagine that boy being told by his mother that she wanted him to join a local organization, a strange organization with strange people, in a strange place, doing strange things. Now you probably have some sort of understanding of how I felt when my mom told me I would be joining the Cub Scouts.
I think grizzly bear should be delisted because there is a healthy population of grizzly bears in North America. The recovery of bear population has been successful. Human should truly allow bear return to their nature state. After more a decade of grizzly bear research, human have a good understanding of bear behavior . I have that the proposal has been thought through carefully by scientists. The bears should be able to survive and reproduce as long as the national park is protected. I truly believe that wildlife is very adaptable. The main reason for there close extinction is due the loss of habitat and human hunting. Currently, hunting of bear are forbidden and national parks are protect by the government and public. The main factor for
