The Project Manager must use all of the resources within Building by design to:
• Ensure that business activities comply with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement innovative construction methods and systems to meet specific project and contractual requirements.
• Liaise with potential clients to develop relationships that will generate new business opportunities that not only benefit Building by design but the Group as a whole.
• Build teams for the performance of projects for all customers that exceeds expectations.
• Enhance operational efficiency and improve communication of the Group to ensure that contracts can be delivered within the constraints of resources, programme and budget.
Any action, prior to being taken, should be considered in the context of its affect on other businesses within the Group and on the Group as a whole. Any such action should not only benefit a division, but the total Group.
The Project Manager works closely with the other Business Managers to provide services of Project Management, Estimation and Project Administration that will enable the development of efficiencies that will benefit the entire Group.
