Bully vs Bystander
Millions of kids are getting picked on around the world. And it`s getting out of hand! Students may become bullies because they might have been bullied before, want to fit in, or they might have family issues. A bully is worse than a bystander because they can suffer for causing someone to commit suicide, or they can lose trust from their family and friends. If it wasn’t for bullies we wouldn’t have bystanders. Bullies are just people who think it’s fun to hurt someone’s feelings. But, what they don’t understand is that they’re really hurting themselves and the person who is being bullied.

According to Scholastic News Isabella Pentri was a bully that realized it wasn’t good to bully. A bully is the one starting the action a bystander is a person watching the action cheering on the bully. The action may include pushing, kicking, hitting, teasing, taunting, and name calling. At least everyone has been a bully or bullied.
In addition, bullies suffer a large amount of punishment. There also the main person that caused the victim to commit suicide. Bystanders just watch and help the bully for no reason, when they can do something to help! However, bystanders are terrible but bullies are worse because bystanders watch and bullies start. There are a bunch of facts about bullying in Source 1, “Tales of Bullying,” by Laura Modigliam. Students that get bullied are probably getting bullied for their weight, height, looks, and clothing. Don’t be a bully.
Overall, a bully is worse than a bystander because they can cause suffer from guilt, suicides, and lose trust from love ones. If you ever experience any of these facts take action!
