In recent years, bullying has gained attention due to school shootings and the increased awareness of mental illnesses. It has led people wanting to know why people become bullies and why others become victims of bullying. To answer those questions, it is important to look at bullying from a sociological perspective.It shows what behavioral patterns and norms occur between individuals and their society that leads to bullying.

In this movie there were a lot of the characters that only would see perspectives through their own eyes. The coach was like this even until he went out into the fields with his players and picked lettuce with them. The kids also only saw their coach through their perspective until they got to know him better and allowed him to show them who he was and in the end they all grew a bond that was strong. At the beginning of the movie there was a kid who was talking back to the coach also treated the equipment manager who was a scrawny looking kid in an inferior way so that others see that he is inferior to him so I would say that was a type of relational bullying. The coach was also kind of a bully in some aspect but he of course didn’t see himself as a bully but he was fired from multiple jobs because of verbal, and psychical bullying.

The video created pain and confusion to see the way many people segregate or discriminate African Americans. For this week’s first discussion board I will be working with my client Steven, Jeong. I will be addressing the developmental crises he or she is facing. Then, explain at least two risk-taking behaviors in which the adolescent is involved and at least one protective factor that might be influencing his or her level of functioning. Finally, I will address the impact Steven's risky behaviors may have on Steven and his family.

Theatre can be used to inspire, motivate, or teach. In this case, theater is used to help the bullying across the nation. It raises awareness, helps bullied students, and prevents bullying by improving social skills in drama programs. I have learned from my research that drama has a huge affect on bullying.

The bullying video we viewed in class difficult to watch. I could see the pain of both Jamie and his family. It made me cry to see the injustice and abuse he suffered through. Three things in life that disgust and sadden me are the abuse of people, animals, and our planet. I have absolutely no tolerance for the act of bullying or the early behaviors that lead up to it. That is one of the reasons I can’t wait to be a teacher! I consider it part of my role in life to be a good model and help others to see their personal biases. I want kids to have the skills to identify and speak out against situations where someone is being oppressed, discriminated or abused. Teaching healthy social skills and respectful communication will always be a part of my classroom and my curriculum.

Many of the student at the school were so amazed by the speaker. They took the challenge to stopped bullying at their home school. When I was looking in the gym at all the student many of the students were crying, going up to other’s saying I’m sorry what I did to you, wow, stunned by the truth of bullying and what it really does to other. All of them were having a feeling inside of them that was guilt that they bullied someone and they didn’t care how it hurt the person emotionally. So, me seeing this in our school and seeing other go to each was eye opening to administration and other that there is really stuff going on at this school that hurt many students and we didn’t even see

For most children learning process itself may already be a daily struggle and being a target for bullying at the same time can become "the straw that broke the camel's back", after which they consider suicide as the only possible solution. "A study in Britain found that at least half of suicides among young people are related to bullying" (Detlor, 2010). So, due to the fact that problem of bullying negatively affects students' learning ability, their health and the entire school climate society should take definite and urgent measures to solve it.

The death penalty has been around for a very long time and is not a new concept to our world. The usage of the death penalty dates back as far as the Babylonian era and was used for an assortment of crimes. This practice was also used greatly by the ancient Greeks and Romans, soon England began to practice this punishment and the founding fathers of our now great American colonies carried the capital punishment with them when they crossed over, where it is still used today as lawful punishment is a majority of states.
