The company has been in existence since 1998 but was closed for some time, before being bought over by Barbara Fellnermayr and re-launched on the 9th of June, 2005. They maintain a staff strength of seven employees which is posed to increase this year with the intent of expansion and increased productivity. Amore’s total revenues for the year ended December 2012 was five million dollars ($5,000, 000). The company is renowned for the Amore Pet Food Diet which is based on the premise that dogs and cats are predators – designed to hunt, kill, eat raw meat and chew on raw bones. The diet has been developed for busy people who love their animals and want to give them a species-appropriate diet, but have little time for the preparation and planning of meals for pets. Vegetables are added to muscle meat, raw ground bones, heart and liver to provide the vitamins and minerals required by a healthy pet. As the world’s third largest economy, Japan ranks fourth among both the world’s Importers and Exporters with Exports valued at $773.9 billion and Imports valued at $830.6 billion. The country has a very strong democratic setup, stable macroeconomic policies and high GDP.
