Any existing business can be a threat to Spot Café because of its time in service. There are many restaurants in the Pelham bay area. Some examples of this competitor are the Greeks restaurants located at Westchester ave. & Crosby ave, their menu is slightly similar. Also there are the Italian restaurants that have been in the area for decades. The Spot Café does not have much competition in the Pelham bay area because our Spanish oriented menu is unique from our mangu with onions, to the white rice with bacalao. The closest Spanish café restaurant is located twenty two miles away. There are so many Spanish oriented people moving in to the Pelham bay area that we are most certain we will own the market within 3 years.
Company Analysis The Spot Café is a partnership between Robinson Paulino and Nilsa Paulino. Each have a bachelor degree in small business administration and have experience in the marketing aspects of the business. Based on the experience they both possess success is inevitable. The Spot Café is a new business and its learning with each step taken. The founders of The Spot Café hope to be successful in the Pelham Bay area as well as areas of Mount Vernon. In order to become more neighborhoods friendly The Spot Café works with local farmers from around the area. By doing this we will gain local families trust and we will be able to provide them with top on the line products.
