Billy Joe Bob likes baseball. He lives in a little brown house on the east side of Toledo, OH in a crime filled neighborhood. One day Billy was playing fetch with his dog. Billy threw a baseball and the dog would retrieve it and bring it back. Billy loves the game of fetch. Him and his dog have a lot of fun and Billy is becoming better at baseball.
Right now, there’s no nostalgic feelings or reliving memories at Heinz Field. On-campus stadiums create a unique setting, as there’s a natural relationship between football and campus life. The alums and fans that come on campus each Saturday would not only give the university a new image, but also bring in hundreds of new patrons for Oakland’s businesses. Many businesses were hurt from the lost revenue of no Panther football games when they moved in 2000; some even went out of business. Bringing football back on campus would give them a much-needed boost and could help revitalize the entire neighborhood of
But, that’s just the beginning of their offerings. They also supply the local area with kegs of craft and domestic beer and have twelve rotating taps on hand for consumption in the shop or in their great beer garden out back. The beer garden is stocked with cornhole and extra-large two by four Jenga, and often visited by Knoxville’s best food trucks. Best of all dogs are welcome. Come have a backyard party with relative strangers and fast friends.
Being a professional singer with Dirty Tate and the Boys (DTB) doesn’t come without some struggles. It was a warm spring evening in the city of Hutchinson, and DTB was in need of some Aviators, ties, and food. We decided to resolve some of our struggles at Walmart, where we proceeded to buy the Aviators and ties. This made all of us even more hungry, so we decided to go to our favorite restaurant that provides half-priced appetizers after 9 o’clock. Applebee’s is known for their special deal, but it is also well known for it’s savory food and wonderful service.
Although Nebraska didn’t conquer the game over Missouri, Nebraska was still able to earn eight conference championships along with two national titles, with each season Memorial Stadium was sold out of all tickets in 1963 through 1973.
As well, stated under Mizzou’s tailgating policy they state that tailgating is a longstanding tradition before Mizzou football contests, built on the tradition of enjoying the fellowship of friends, the Mizzou Spirit, and great Mizzou Football. The University of Missouri and Mizzou Athletics encourage responsible tailgating in an effort to enhance the game day experience, ensure a safe game day atmosphere to all fans, and preserve the beauty of campus.
Rare is it that warmth crowds wrath for the spotlight when the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Colorado Buffaloes crack helmets in their annual Big Eight showdown. Yet that was the mood this season at chilly Memorial Stadium in Lincoln as fans applauded loudly every senior playing his final home game.

For most everyone who comes to see a game at Bryant Denny Stadium, the memory is unforgettable. To experience a game at this stadium is to have an experience like no other. While I have only been a part of the University of Alabama community for a few weeks, I know that every part experience is memorable from tailgating before the game to celebrating after the game. The only thing second to watching the game in person is to tailgate on the quad before the game starts.
In the Journal of Alcohol & Drug Education is the letter “Tapping into College Football: The Need for Research Examining the Impact of Stadium Alcohol Sales on Drinking Behaviors and Incidents” written to the editor by Adam E. Barry, Texas A&M; Steven M. Howell, Northern Illinois University; and Steven Salaga, Texas A&M University. Barry, Howell, and Salaga give background information on the alcohol sales and alcohol related incidents. They focus on the West Virginia University Case findings heavily. The research provided shows a decrease in alcohol related incidents in 2010 which was the year before allowing alcohol to be sold in the West Virginia stadium (Tapping into College Football). According to Jenni Carlson, a sports columnist for the Oklahoman, “West Virginia decided to start selling beer at concession stands in 2011. That was its final season in the Big East before jumping to the Big 12. The first year that it sold alcohol in the stadium, sales added $700,000 to the athletic department coffers. But there were more benefits, benefits that should interest other schools. In 2011, the campus police at West Virginia reported an across-the-board drop in game-day incidents. Calls. Cases. Arrests. Charges. All of them went down, including a 35 percent drop in arrests,” (Cheers to Selling Beers at Football Games).
The stadium sits in the heart of this old blue collar, hardworking, melting pot town. My husband can still rattle off any last

Going to a university where football is taken as serious as it is here at Arizona is an affair of it’s own. Personally, I had only experienced various high school football games, until September 3rd, 2015 when I decided to attend The University of Arizona vs. UTSA here at our home stadium. The school spirit, pride and student section, also known as the ZonaZoo, are all such huge contributions to the experience itself. Although football games are only one part of the community here at the U of A, they bring out the comradery in our student body as U of A students love to watch their school succeed against opponents.
