The talented actor, George Sand, once said, “There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved.” Humanization has been a controversial issue affecting the LGBT Community across the planet. Many people believe any sexual act should be between a man and a woman. However, there are men who overcome insecurities and find confidence in the LGBT community. Both Homosexual and Transgender people in sports are persecuted in their perceived orientation. After watching the videos about Olympic Greg Louganis and Caitlyn Jenner, the two athletes shared many commonalities for hiding their secrets.
The notable decathlon athlete, Caitlyn Jenner, shared features with the Olympic swimmer, Greg Louganis, which made her feel comfortable in her skin. The two features that Jenner shows in correlation to Louganis attributes was her courage and pride to promote public understanding and tolerance of the transgender community.
