Cal Poly Pomona Facts

In my project, I want to talk about the weaknesses and strengths of University of Southern California. Through analyzing the weaknesses and strengths of USC, we would know that USC is good for applying.

O.S.U. mostly plays football. Lewis and Clark College is Oregon’s College. Oregon’s culture is fishing, and planting stuff. The sports they play are football, soccer, tennis, and golf.

There is no knowing what my legacy at UC Irvine may be, but I will describe what my goal is for the next four years. Of course it includes doing well in all my classes, however I would like to accomplish more than that and at a deeper level. I would like to work with other students to make our community become more united than it already is. Fitting in is one thing, but making others feel welcomed is much more important. College is a place where connections and ties are established and everyone should be able to do so. It would be of great pleasure to join groups where as a collective we help not only each other, but also the community around us. The legacy I want to create is not for me but rather for the notion of an interconnected and involved

The college I hope to attend is California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. The school was founded in 1894 when a local journalist gathered the townspeople to lobby for a state school in their town. They got the governor to sign legislation to establish California Polytechnic School. The first classes were on October 1, 1903.

While he went to Pasadena junior college, he did not play any sports, but as soon he went to the University of California, Los Angeles

Why Do I Want To Attend Troy University? Ever since my sister attended Troy University and told me about all the superior activities Troy has to offer, I have wanted to attend this college. Troy has an outstanding nursing program, and that is the career field I plan on going into prior graduation. I have always wanted to specialize in neonatal nursing with sick babies. Troy also has some awesome sororities at their school I am interested in being a part of. Alpha Gamma Delta is the sorority I am most interested in. They strive to achieve academic excellence and they help out their school as much as they can. Lastly, Troy has a very beautiful, clean, and safe campus. Feeling safe while walking around your college is a very important factor to me.

Prairie View A&M is greatly known for as the "party school". But in reality, that is not true. Prairie View actually, produces productive people. Prairie View has a legacy of producing the state's top engineer's. The college of engineering has established a reputation for producing engineers who have made huge contributions to many of America's fortune 500 companies. Famous alumni from Among the sports offered are flag football, soccer, kickball, basketball, volleyball, softball, ski racing, and ultimate Frisbee. Of all the programs, basketball is the most popular, with around forty teams competing.

Overview: On the campus of the University of California, Tatiana Tarasoff was killed by Prosenjit Poddar just two months after being detained by campus police for making such threats in a counseling session. According to Public Health Law, Poddar expressed that he was going to carry out the action of murder during two different counseling sessions, which his psychologist, Dr. Moore, had no choice but to have him detained. He was released after promising to stay away from Tarasoff, however, he followed through on killing Tatiana Tarasoff. During this time frame, according to the “Facts” from a casebriefs.com (page 2), the psychologist sought out other professionals for insight. The reason for consensualizing was to get others’ insight as to whether is was the psychologists place to warn Tatiana Tarasoff or her parents of this threat, and break confidentiality with her client. The conclusion drawn was to not warn, which was advised by Moore’s superior, or protect Tatiana, and as a result, she was murdered by Poddar in 1969.

San Diego State is a public university and provides top education. It is one of the 23 campuses of the California State University System and has its own branch campus in the Imperial Valley. Their acceptance rates are 34.5% therefore a majority of applicants will not be accepted because they might not have the right GPA or they may not have enough extracurricular activities. They have an outstanding soccer team that has been doing very well this season. It’s also on the beautiful coast of San Diego. They have such a beautiful campus with wonderful people. They are also right next to the beach so you have that wonderful sea smell everyday. San Diego defines its missions as “ to provide a well- balanced, high quality education for undergraduate and graduate students and to contribute to knowledge in the solution of problems are excellent distinction in teaching, research, and service.”

Veterinarians provide medical services for animals that are big and small. Helping sick animals weather they are big or small. They provide medicine for house pets and farm animals. When owners take there pet to the vet they are looking for someone to provide information to them about their animal.

There are many reasons on why I would love to attend Pacific University. One of the reasons on why I would love to attend Pacific University is because they have a small campus with a small class size. I believe that is a good learning environment because you have a better relationship with your professor and have more one on one time. I will also become more inquisitive and outgoing in class and the campus in general. I also plan on making an impact on the community around Pacific University as well as the campus itself. I plan on fulfilling this by joining clubs, volunteering, and helping the community and meeting new people to get them involved. Not only do I want to make an impact but also carry my school spirit proudly by joining a sport.

“We walked around then we had dinner in Chinatown, so that was really interesting. The next day, we toured Berkley, the college, so we actually took an underground subway to get to Berkley cause its about 20 minutes to 30 minutes from San Fran,” She said. “We took a shuttle there and walked around the town of Berkley and then we went to a college for the tour. I really liked that, they have a dance, theater and performance study major that I think will be really fun,” She said. “I bought a sweatshirt that says Cal instead of Berkley cause that’s what they call it. There are a bunch of Universities in California like UCLA and Berkley, but those were the first ones so I guess they got rights to that
