Calix had a ticket to go to the L.A. Kings game. His boss decided that he was the perfect person to go to New York for the meeting. That meant Calix couldn’t go to the Kings game against the Blackhawks. His sister, Annora has never gone to a game yet, She has lived in Chicago most of her life. Calix decided to give his sister the tickets but he told her, he couldn’t watch the game on the trip. They agreed, Annora had to text Calix every twenty-five minutes with details and updates on the game. Twas the night of the hockey game, Annora got to the game. She got out of her car, with the ticket in hand. As soon as she opened her car door, music and talking filled her ears. Bright lights everywhere she looked. With every step she took,
It was just for one night, thought she as she closed the window. The wind is howling and the rain is conducting a symphony of drums against the glass. She turns around and starts walking across the room, the white carpet is soft underneath her bare feet, as she walks to her chair, fixing up her mess of long, beautiful black hair into a messy bun. She has the hair of a Disney princess and the school thought she's one of the most beautiful girls in the entire class, with eyes of ice and a heart of gold. Underneath the mountain of clothes she has yet to put away she finds a towel and hands it to Roman. He takes it from her, their hands lightly touch and he flashes that million dollar, white as snow smile. His dad must be drinking again. Why else
Nick fidgeted with his train ticket and bent the corners. He buttoned and unbuttoned his flannel shirt and he re-tied his shoelaces. He could now see the train slowing to a stop as it pulled into the station. It was big and loud. Nick couldn’t remember the last time he had been on a train. Nick stood up. He picked up his things.
I walked closely to Stiles and Scott as I listened to Scott I rant about what had happened during the lacrosse practice earlier. I will have to say that after the practice Scott was for sure going to play start. I stepped over a huge rock as I moved closer to the boys to hear what they yapping about now , I rolled my eyes as they begin to talking the whole thing still. I just want to find the inhaler and get of the woods.
I start to think through the whole night, struggling to detangle a story, even a sentence, from my racing memories. Every moment under the stars that seemed so perfect at the time, even that faint trash smell, was a clue I needed to unravel. But all I can see is her face; all I can hear is her laugh.
“Shit, shit, shit…” Kelsey mumbled to herself as she leaned against the wall of her room to put her other black stiletto on. She quickly zipped up her black dress, applied red lipstick and ran out the door. The warm night air brushed against her legs as she quickly walked to the bar downtown. She was on a mission tonight… and being late wasn’t part of the plan.
She stood in front of stores and admired the things in them, spending about ten minutes viewing sofas through a glass and playing back what she has been wishing for. The opportunity she has been waiting for, the reason she woke up at dawn in Tepoztlan to go up North with Candido, the comfort she wished for and everything Candido promised her was right in Canoga Park. She feels right at
She yanked the keys out of the ignition. It’s was just dark as she stumbled for the door grasping for breath. Her hands were shaking so bad, she had to two fist the key to get it into the lock. She burst into a fresh wave of sobs as she bursted into the door. She close the door and sank to the sobbing. She was still just the foolish little girl at ran around making the prefect prom. She just turned it into the prefect sale.
We walked out the door one by one, then John had hurdled into the driver’s seat. Brandie went in after him on the passenger side and bounced onto the seat. Brianna and I had bounded into the two back doors of the car. We waited for the all cars to pass us, for it is being ten o’clock at night it was really busy. Then we went and drove off to Rock C’s down the road by mcdonald's also acrossed the street from our home.
At last, the bell finally rung, and I was headed home to get my gear. Hastily packing because lessons began at approximately 4:30, with about an hour drive. I hopped in the car next to Carolyn with minimal excitement. My nerves began to set in. I sat back and attempted to relax while we traveled past Delaware onto Earlville. Watching cars and fields pass by aided me to relieve some stress. I quickly forgot where I was going and why. Time flew by in that red Ford Escape. The trip from Manchester to Asbury seemed to only take fifteen minutes instead of forty five. We arrived far too soon, yet we were still late.
The journey to Utah was very long and Linda needed to rest. She stopped at the motel nearby, she needed to cool off for the night and continue her journey in the morning. The place was isolated and quiet. She walked in the motel to book a room, it looked simple but she never had any choice. She needed some rest. There was a bar opposite the motel.
Ann Marie stayed on the ground, unsure of what to do with herself, considering she was alone again, she thought she would be happy. But now, she suddenly felt lonely, and even sadder than she usually felt before. An overwhelming feeling of depression hit her, nothing like she had ever felt
The day had started off marvelously- an early start and meet up with the bus that would be taking us. The ride up was peaceful, ironically contrasting the day ahead. We barreled down the highway until the traffic slowed to a halt. Car horns blared as they fought for entry to the city. I gazed out the window
The time was midnight and the weather was unbearable. The dirt roads had become frozen shadows of the night, making it hard for anyone to see anything. Nay one was out, most were either sleeping or stuffed into the tavern, drinking, and gambling. Nay one 's dumb enough to be outside during this night, nay one but me. From a distance, I hear a piano being played inside the tavern, just barely audible due to the sounds o ' the snow storm. I eased closer to the tavern, desperate to get some warmth and perchance a meal that doesn 't taste like crap. Nay one noticed as I entered, they were too busy drinking and gambling or both. Always too busy to notice.
The only sound that filled my ears was my keyboard clicking as my fingers raced across it. I had been procrastinating from finishing this assignment all evening, but I knew I needed to get it done. The burning sunset was shining through the windows as I was finishing up. It was a peaceful silence, until I heard the soft whispers of my parents that ignited my sense of curiosity. I was concentrating hard; doing my best trying to make out the hushed words that were being spoken.
She tugged on a hoodie while explaining to herself why she always did this. She gripped her car keys as she jogged down the stairs to the parking lot. Her best friend constantly needed her help when she was unavailable emotionally. He had problems in his relationship, so that made her the couple counselor. She loved helping other people, but she was tired of seeing her friend be treated badly. The car halted in front of the house full of harsh words. She could feel the tension radiating from behind the walls. She didn’t knock on the door, but she climbed the table Louis used to get to the roof.
