Compare/Contrast over DVD/Book There are lots of differences in the book and DVD, The Call of the Wild. One of the things they do that is different is that in the movie they have much more violence. What I mean by that is when Spitz and Buck are fighting, you can see what’s happening, and I think that’s why it seems so much more violent. But, in the book, you are just reading what’s going on. Another thing that’s different from the book that’s in the DVD is that in the DVD they take more time introducing the characters. I say this because in the book, they tell what the character does, and the name of the character. In the book, they take more time explaining them. For example, they introduce John Thornton differently by giving more detail
