The first time going to camp snoopy was a huge deal because I was only 4 years old. I was with my close family, which are my brothers and cousins, and of course my mom and grandma. When we were walking into camp snoopy for the first time it was like“a tree in a forest” and all I could hear hear squeal of kids screaming, and the rides rumbling. The first ride we decided to go on was the elegant peanuts swing. When we got on the swing I felt the chilly metal of the seat and the smooth breeze of wind blowing into my face. After that we went to the shooting star and at first I didn't want to go on the shooting star so my cousins went on the shooting star and after they came over and said we were baby's If we didn't go on the …show more content…
When we got in line for the log Chute the sun was still shining, after we got in line all I heard was water splashing everywhere from the log chute coming down the monster hill. The line felt like a mile long, the scary thing was we kept going into the abandoned cave, every step it got darker and darker. We advently saw a pinch of sun before it went away, and then we were first in line. So me, my mom, and Sam stepped into the log chute. Then we started to float down the stream and then we took hard right and slowly went the lift and all you could here was click clack, click clack, click clack. Once off the lift we hit some rapids and we went by the home run chair; then all a sudden we went down the hill after the drop my heart was racing. Then we went up another lift to go to the massive drop my heart was racing, my stomach felt like it was going to explode. Then we went straight down, and we made a massive wave making water go everywhere. Till this day the log chute is one the scariest rides at Camp Snoopy because your just sitting in the log chute, so you have to girl the metal bar for my life.I felt that then and a I feel it
Once we got there, I was excited because I always loved all of the rides except roller coasters. When we got inside the park, I wanted to go on the swing ride, but my dad said no. He suggested that we should go on the ride “Medusa”. Guess what! It was a rollercoaster ride. I begged him to not go on it and he eventually convinced me
I couldn’t wait for the fields trip and then I thought to myself, I HAVE TO GO TO THE LOG RIDE (duh duh duh)! I know if you been there it’s not that scary and i’m just overreacting, well you’re wrong, I hate the log ride because of the drop. That’s pretty much the only reason why I hate the log ride, But let me talk about that later. SO we went into the bus and it started raining, I didn’t know that until someone told me.
We left quickly walking fast and practically running toward the gondolas so we wouldn’t be stuck on the mountain all night long. By now the storm was close and so was the lightning. The people at the station loaded the four of us into a gondola and we slowly worked our way down the mountain. Hanging in this tiny box of metal by a hook on a wire cable was not the most reassuring thing. I looked out the window hoping to see the ground, but it was too dark. I could barely see the hand in front my own face. Lightning would flash, and all I could make out were the tops of trees. Paranoia overwhelmed me. My breaths seemed to become further and further apart as time slowed. As I was trying to relieve my mind of worst case scenario, a big flash and enormous rumble sounded. We stopped moving. Our gondola had
Old School is about when Greg’s mom wants to go old school so she makes a petition that everyone signs and it says go electronics free. Greg is not cut out for an old fashioned world. Can Greg survive a couple of weeks without a phone, a TV, and video games?
When the zip line ended there were two instructors that directed me to a dusty path that lead back to where the group was. When I got back to the group we waited for everyone to finish. When everyone finished, our group then proceeded back to the cabins. Ever since this experience I have learned that fears can be
The book I chose to read for my second quarter government book was The Mocking Jay from the Hunger games series. The author of this book is Suzanne Collins. There is a lot that goes on in the story, involving many things in the war of her districts. It is causing a rebellion in the districts. Katniss takes stock of her new position as a rebel in District 13. Only three victors were saved from the arena from the last book from the Hunger games series; Beetee who is an old man from District 3, also known as Volts, Finnick who is the the victor from District 4 and Katniss's first ally and Katniss herself, but Peeta wasn't one of them – he's still missing, along with other victors, Enobaria who is the female tribute from District 2, Johanna
When I was taking a photo of the purple sky and two stretching lakes across the Bonney Pass in the Teton Mountains; I knew this place that I loved had transformed me into a better person and a more confident woman.
Then That's when the anxiety kicked in. As the creaky cart started to go up the tracks creek creek as the cart went up. I kept my eyes open as I watched us go up. Once we reached the top I could see the beautiful day and the bright white clouds and the… aww as the cart went down, the cart was going so fast It was like I was flying a 100 miles per hour. All I could hear were screams of everyone and myself but mostly myself. Once we went down the big drop it was not that bad, I couldn't believe that I survived the drop that was normally the part I cried on. After the big drop we went in a big circle as it headed for the little drop we went down in the big circle as I had my hands up feeling free like a bird. Then the little drop hit you could hear the cart starting to speed up on the tracks again and I said “woh” and then the cart started slowing down again as we reached the station. We all clapped and said We SURVIVED! Once we exited the cart with are legs numb from all that excitement and impact we headed down to get some drinks and to discuss which to ride next, and that was the time I survived Six
At the front gate, there were weeds all over what used to be a garden. The door suddenly swung on its creaky hinges. Pitch black. You couldn’t see a thing in the cabin. Every couple of minutes shingles would fall off the roof. I was scared. Terrified. Then I heard creaking floorboards.
We got to Camp Ernst and our parents dropped us off and we said our goodbyes. Our cabin was in the valley with other cabins with people around our age. We got go go swimming in the pool and the lake and we also went on the banana boat. After dinner some of us left our group to go to horse camp. They kept the houses in a stable at the bottom of a big hill. It was the first day of camp so everyone got to pick a horse and it was my first time going, so I didn't know the horses very well, but I picked one named Charlie. Charlie was a big brown horse.
There were thoughts of actually dying and that gave me a strong excitement. The ride had begun it was slowly going up at first I could see myself getting higher and watch my mom wave at me. All of a sudden the ride had stopped. It was about to get much faster and at that exact moment my mind went blank. The ride had started going up instantaneously as I started to yell at the top of my lungs. I was faced toward the theme park as I went higher I felt butterflies squeeze my stomach. Once I reached the top the ride it stopped moving. The whole theme park was so small from the top of the ride I was surprised to realize that my mom looked like an ant. The rays of the sun were flashing into my face but I was feeling fantastic. Suddenly, there was a sound of gas release and boom the ride started to go down and things started to get bigger again.

My first trip to Disney World, now that, that was a memorable trip. That trip was one of the most magical and happiest memories of my life. It was back in 2008, I had just turned 6 years old a few months before we left to go there. It was summertime, and the weather was perfect. I remember being so bored on the way there because I am an only child so I didn’t have anyone to entertain me besides myself. My mom’s side of the family went on this trip with us, and at the time I was the only grandkid, and the only kid at all. So once we finally were almost there I remember passing the big ‘Welcome to Disney World” sign and being so excited I peed my pants--my mom was pretty mad, but my dad thought it was kinda funny so I didn’t get in too much trouble.
