Lyons is Troy 's first son from his previous marriage. However, Troy ends up killing a man while robbing him and gets sent to jail for fifteen years and that 's where he meets his best friend, Bono. The two worked as garbage collectors. Troy was kicked out of the house at the age of fourteen but still couldn 't manage to get his life together even till the very end.
