Marginal Voices in Literature. Marginalization is a social phenomenon which involves the exclusion of marginalized people. They are relegated to the fringe of the society and have to fight for their rights and basic necessities of life. They are entirely ignored by the mainstream society and are pushed from the centre to the periphery. The term marginalization is widely used in literature. The marginalized people fully express themselves in writings and raise their voice against the injustice done to them. This paper gives an insight into the lives of the Aboriginal people of Canada that have been marginalized from the mainstream Canadian society.
