Canine Parvovirus can be a deadly disease in dogs. Researchers have learned that humans and cats can also get Parvo. Parvovirus appears not to be as deadly to humans as it appears in dogs and cats. Be careful to keep away of any animals or humans that appear to be sick. Make sure to also keep the household and yards clean, the only household cleaner that will get rid of the parvovirus is bleach. Scientists prove that there may not be a true cure for parvo but it can be prevented and well treated for it to die down in the dog’s immune systems.

Make sure the dogs are up-to-date of his or her vaccinations. Also, make sure to get the puppies vaccinations when they are smaller because puppies immune systems are weaker then adult dogs are. A common vaccine is called a “5-in-1” vaccine it protects the puppy from distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, the parvovirus and parainfluenza “(http://pets.webmd.com/dogs/parvo-parvovirus-dogs)”. Clean out any animals dog and water bowls, if the dog bowls are constantly dirty and other dogs use it, which can also spread the disease. Clean the yard and the areas that the infected dog was at, there cannot be any sick dogs around, also clean the dog toys too, the dogs may be sick but perhaps still want to play around so make sure to disinfect those. A way to clean the bowls, floors, bathtubs, yards, mow, etc. are bleach them all and with the yards make sure to spray yard spray, make sure everything’s spotless and extra clean to keep a happy and healthy dog! To prevent B19 or The Fifth Sense make sure to wash hands often with warm soap and water, cover mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, do not touch eyes, nose or mouth, avoid any close contact with anybody who has been sick or who is sick now, and most importantly stay home when sick to keep anyone else from catching the
