Once both goals are completed, we would create a training regime for the employees to help them understand how to use the database, as well as how to maintain the information therein. We would then create an account with the website host for the stakeholders so they can make any changes to the website, as well as teach them how to maintain the website. In recap through this project, we will examine the Ranch’s needs for a database and website, design them using current best practices, and create them to be user friendly for easy maintenance.

Simply put, if you have a business today, you need a website. Period. In the U.S. alone, the number of internet users (approximately 77 percent of the population) and e-commerce sales ($165.4 billion in 2010, according to the US Department of Commerce) continue to rise and are expected to increase with each passing year.” (Schaefer, 2011) Every business that wants to compete in today’s economy should have a professional looking and well-designed website. It enables users to find out information about the business, and the goods and services they offer.
Remember, if you do not have a website, you will most likely be losing business to those that do. (Schaefer, 2011)
The business world preys on those who stay static, and fail to evolve and innovate. There are solutions however and of course and it is worth investigating what aspects play
Scenario: Imagine you are an employee of Party Plates, a company that manufactures decorative paper plates and napkins for special events. Your team has been assigned a new project. The president of your company has tasked you with improving the efficiency of the current information systems used in the sales department, because the current systems are somewhat antiquated. Your organization is currently using Microsoft® Excel® to track all personnel data, but would like to migrate to a relational database like Microsoft® Access®. You have also been tasked with identifying potential collaborative software that may improve internal communications and help streamline some of the work processes for the sales department.
It is now, not only commonplace to have a website detailing the operations of your company, but expected. ?The reality is consumer ? likely even you ? turn to the internet to discover what to do, where to go, who to buy things from and more. Keeping this in mind, shopping online isn?t the only reason people go online. Instead, being online leverages multiple avenues for small businesses to gain visibility among consumers.? (Leinbach-Reyhle, 2015). For a small business trying to compete with other small and larger businesses, visibility is key.

The website of a company plays a vital role as besides providing useful information it is a competent advertising tool that companies can use to promote the product and service for 24x7 all through the year. Therefore, it is necessary for all the companies to have
One of the best things about websites for small businesses is the fact that it will help you to become more visible. It is not enough that customers hear about your business. If they are interested, they will perform a quick online search. If you are not present online, you can lose potential clients. On the other hand, if you are online, you will be more visible, especially if your website is optimised to appear on the top of search engine results.
Time ushers change and change requires the old to be replaced by the new. Business is no different; it has witnessed a fair share of evolution. Once upon a time, the quest was for everything tangible. Cash, real estate, machinery, inventory, investments were the means of defining the strength of a company.Today, wealth resides in the intangible. Companies spend millions to maintain their priceless goodwill, patents and most importantly, their irreplaceable BRANDS. You have just seen

So if your business doesn 't have a website, then you may be losing out on a lot.
Web sites allow companies to sell their products and services to consumers around the world, rather than limiting them to driving distance from a store.
Every business or organization in the world today has to operate on some type of database. These databases are used to help them track their transactions and keep up with what is coming in and going out of their business. Databases allow you retrieve data quickly and with a database once the information is entered you don’t have to reenter it again so therefore you have less mistakes being made. The main idea of this project is to be able to manage the database that is being used as well as be able to keep up with the steady growth of the business. I chose to write about operating a small car lot and what procedures are needed when purchasing a vehicle off that lot. Operating a car lot can be a very successful business and you must make
Doing business in this era has become like a Space Mountain ride. Unlike normal rides, in Space Mountain everything is in pitch black darkness; similarly future of business is concealed by clouds of uncertainty. Businesses are changing every minute - new technologies are transforming the way they operate, new business models are posing threat to the established ones. To throw light on it, lets consider the example of the automotive industry. A few years back the market was dominated by car OEMs like GM, Honda, Jaguar, Toyota, and Audi, and they were vigorously competing among themselves to be the market leader. Now competition profile has changed to include IT companies like Google and
In today’s dynamic business world, it is not enough for businesses to respond to the current customers and internal organizational issues. In order for businesses to survive, they must be able to anticipate and evaluate existing and emerging trends and develop ideas, products and services that respond to those trends. However, failing to identify and respond to trends can put the business at the risk of losing the existing customer base because innovation often determines who will be the market leader and who will be living on the margin of the market.
Now a days, if people come across some new things or some new products they will first try to get all the information about that thing, product and business. They will try to search it on google and similarly if they come across with some new business, they will try to look at their websites to get all the information. If your website is just containing your business name, address and contact number; they won’t try to approach you because it did not give any information about you and your business. People like clear and appropriate information and in this advanced and modern era, websites are key to provide the information.
In order to complete the implementation of a database for the company I will focus on the database structure that will be utilized to store and manage end-client information. The association 's data is one of an association 's most vital assets. So I will recommend a Database Management System (DBMS) to keep information on customers, employees, demands, and receipts and so forth. These things are all necessary to the existence of an organization; I will utilize a relational database management system (Linked List) which is a
