f I could pick any career it would be a Pediatrician Nurse Practitioner for an Oncologist. Growing up I wanted to be what every other kid wanted to be: doctor, lawyer, princess and the list goes on. I fell in love with the thought of helping others. My junior year I was involved in a clinical rotation where one hour a day I would go to the hospital and sit in on surgeries, comfort patients, do coffee runs and anything else I could get my hands on. Now going into my senior year I am going to have an internship for a Pediatric Oncologist in Rockwall. This is going to help me

Photo # 1 exhibits a Physician who specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology. As you can see from the photo, the physician is the one who is holding the yellow handled cautery while performing a cesarean section on a 39 week old mother. The Physician has completed several years of school. In order to even become a physician they must complete a four-year undergraduate degree, such as a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. Students may consider taking courses in biology, chemistry, and anatomy and physiology. They must also pass the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) to gain entry into medical school. The next course is to complete a 4-year medical school program, internship and residency in a hospital. An internship is usually a year long, while a medical residency may last between 3-7 years. Finally they must receive a state licensure this is mandatory, licensure requires passing the United States Medical Licensing Examination in order to be an OB-GYN.
My career goal is to become a pathologist. Pathologists are like detectives, anxious to crack medical mysteries such as cancer, AIDS, and diabetes. Every disease that is on the surface of this earth is as important as the other because they have that same heartbreaking effect. One disease that I would care solve is cancer. I recently saw a picture of a little that was suffering from cancer, unfortunately, cancer won, but the picture is so heartbreaking because I can see the pain that she was in. That is just one example of the millions of individuals suffering from this disease. Everyone have one life to enjoy, I truly feel that if I am capable of finding a cure and erase this scare. I would love for a cure to be discovered sooner than later
Currently I work with the Moose Jaw Kinsmen Flying Fins as an assistant coach to the youngest kids in our program. In the future I think that I want to pursue a career in medicine, more so a career as a cardiovascular surgeon. I like the idea of cutting into a person and being able to fix their hearts. It’s like taking the role of God into your own hands and I imagine that holding a live beating human heart would be an indescribable feeling that I would love to experience.
My top career choice is a neurologist. I have chosen this career because not only is it financially rewarding, I can help people live a better life like I always dreamed of doing as a kid. I want to be the person to be recognized for saving lives. I know that this job would be a lot of hard work, but I think all my time would be worth it saving lives. The brain has always fascinated me since I was little, I was always eager to learn more, and discover more things. I realize that this would be a challenge, but it is a challenge I am up for!
I have always wanted to be an OB-GYN. I had an idea of the general duties of an OB-GYN but decided to research information online. Requirements for becoming an OB-GYN are long. First, you have to attend college (pre-med) and have an undergraduate degree then get a degree then get a doctorate of medicine degree to become a medical doctor, which takes anywhere from 4-6 years. You have to attend college after becoming a doctor to study longer to become a women’s doctor. You can specialize in just delivering babies or you can branch out and only treat women with breast cancer or other female medical issues. You can stay in school for almost twelve years before you can get a medical license.
