The fourth survey that I took was the Career Cluster Interest Survey, provided by CareerWise. I liked this survey because it gave me a better idea of careers that best match with my personality. The website presented some general information about each cluster and jobs with that cluster. The top matches of career clusters were 1. Hospitality and Tourism, 2. Law, Public Safety, and 3. Human Services. I was not that surprised with the job clusters because I do plan on having a career in either hospitality and tourism or Law, public safety, and security.
Hospitality and tourism entails helping people plan and/or enjoy their vacations by planning activities. Some suggestions listed were working at a restaurant, resort, theme park, hotel, museum,
After taking the FOCUS 2 quizzes and completing the worksheet, I learned about a few of my career options. For this research report I was asked to complete two surveys. These surveys were important because they helped me understand what type of career I would enjoy based on my interests and my personality. The first survey I took was the Career
The next personality test I took was the career clusters. Career clusters are organizational tools that link education with business and industry through sixteen broad based areas. The top three clusters I got was health science, human services, and education and training. Health science careers covers all aspects of the medical field (Hinders). For example, a veterinarian. The next cluster is was called human services, which refers to jobs with the purpose of helping families meet basic human needs. This category has jobs like a social worker or a psychologist (Hinders). The final cluster my results told me was education and training. This cluster is for patient people who enjoy helping others (Hinders). Some possible jobs include preschool and elementary teacher. I agree with all of these results and could see myself doing any of the job examples given from each cluster.
The results from assessment weren’t surprising to me, as I ranked very high in conventional, Enterprising and Social categories. There were several careers listed in the job zone that appealed to me such as Human Resources Specialist, A Meeting, Convention and Event Planner, Compensation and Benefits Manager and Social &Human Service Assistant. All of these careers stem from organization and analytical thinking characteristics and follow guidelines

My career clusters was performing arts and I chose the career named, Music Director/Composer. Directors lead orchestras, choirs, groups, and bands while composers make music or arrange other piece in a variety of music styles. Directors ensure that the musicians play with one concert sound, balancing the melody, tuning, rhythm, and dynamic. They give feedback to the musicians or section leaders so that they can achieve the sound and style they want in the music. The work environment for directors work in religious organizations, and schools with music programs. They also spend a lot of time traveling around to and places. Composers work in offices, recording studios, or their own home. Similar occupations of this career are actors, dancer and choreographers, high, middle, and elementary school teachers, musicians and singers, producers and directors, and writers and authors. The job outlook is growing by 3% which is

They deal with customer service, administrative service, algebra, and law and government. They have to communicate by speaking. They also have to listen to people’s problems and try to solve them.
The college career survey is a tool used to unlock a student’s potential for possible career and college majors based on their interest and abilities. My survey revealed a career in fields such as law, medicine, and media. Suggested careers in these fields were, Administrative Law Judge, Audiologist, and Newscaster, respectively. While, I am currently going to school with the goal of becoming a Medical Doctor, I can see how certain qualities in each career field/suggested careers would play a part in my current goal.
