Many of the most popular TV series are based of of books. For example Pretty Little Liars, and Gossip Girl were books long before they were turned into TV shows. Hollywood looks to books to make some of the most popular movies/ TV shows. One of my favorite TV shows, which happened to be based of a book, is called ¨The Carrie Diaries.¨
Basically The Carrie Diaries is about a 16 year old girl named Carrie Bradshaw's life during high school after her mother dies the summer before. When she goes back to school she finds out that her dad got her a law firm internship in Manhattan. In Manhattan she meets this girl named Larissa Loughlin who works at Interview Magazine. And later carrie gets a Internship at Interview. So it's about Carrie Bradshaw

Thirteen Reasons Why was about a teenage girl who made tapes about why she killed herself. This type of genre can take an effect on somebody’s life, especially if they can highly relate to the book themself. Another huge book would be The Hunger Games series. The main character, Katniss, a brave and ferocious girl. She could be retained to a
After reading the Harry Potter series, U spent weeks anticipating a letter from a magical school that would reveal that I was in fact a wizard and was invited to attend their classes to learn magic. People tend to enjoy reading fiction so they can live vicariously through the characters in the story. Fiction, despite being “made-up”, often have close similarities to the real world. By taking a closer look at “The Veldt” by Ray Bradbury and “The Tell-Tale Heart” by Edgar Allen Poe, one can infer that fiction reveal a significant amount of truths about human nature.
Hobbit and many other widely famous nonfiction books are successful not just because of an

From short stories to fantasy and horror novels the ‘science fiction author’ Ray Bradbury entertains millions with his works. Known from his most famous novel Fahrenheit 451, “ a dystopian study of future American society in which critical thought is outlawed” (“Ray Bradbury” 1). Fictional books can be heavily influenced by real life facts, events, and theories. By using a real life reference, the author is able to base their story off of it and give it their own twist to make it interesting. For example, the book The Time Machine by H.G. Wells was greatly influenced by the book: Charles Darwin's Origin of Species. This can be seen in the Time Traveler's thought process. The Time Traveler's theories about the Morlocks and Eloi clearly reflect Darwin's main points of evolution, natural selection, and survival. His theories of the two species show that humans will always continue to evolve, natural selection is at work, and that the surrounding climate and environment will influence an organism's ability to survive.
