Dinahlee Martinez is twenty two years old and her birthday is on August seventh and she was born in nineteen ninety five. She loves cookies and milk as snacks. She has a lot of cousins from her father’s side, approximately fifteen cousins together and from her mother’s side she only has one cousin. She is a mommy girl and she has two dogs. She always wished she had more siblings and that is why she wants to have a big family when she gets older.

Quazonte currently lives with his mother and siblings. Quazonte follows household rules and expectations, and obeys some rules. Quazonte is consistently subject to appropriate consequences for bad behavior and consistently receives appropriate rewards for good behavior. His mother always practices good supervision and she clearly disapproves of his behavior. Quazonte 's home includes some conflict, but it is well managed. Most of the conflict was characterized by Ms. Edward’s as “sibling disagreements, like brothers and sisters have with one another. Nothing ever gets out of hand or physical.” She stated her authority is accepted in the home and respected by her children. Quazonte has never runaway or been kicked out of the house.

Growing up in chicago during the 50s and 60s, mallen streaked Catherine Salemi was surrounded by her tight knit Silesian heritage and her family's unyielding values and tradition. She had inherited a rare hair disorder in which a mallen streak is formed. In other words, she had a unique streak of non pigmented white hair, which was in great contrast to her otherwise jet black hair color. Her skin was smooth with an olive tone and had luscious, thick charcoal hair with curiously defined round brown eyes. Furthermore, she also spent the majority of her childhood in Chicago IL, however she spent roughly a year living in California on the account of her father's job. Junior the oldest child is married to Lola and has four children. He lacks a college education and even though he’s taking classes he’s very economic unstable as well. The third Sanchez children Vicki was diagnosed with autism and this was very challenging for the whole family. There is a level of uncertainty about Vicki’s future thinking and how she will be able to take care of herself when her parents are no longer able to. If this wasn’t enough, there is also Roberto who is the son of Celia’s sister Delores and is currently living with them. Roberto has been having serious health problems that have made it difficult for him to work. He’s illegally in the country and doesn’t know how to start the legal process to apply for residency. Roberto also wants to move out and provide for himself, but his recurring health issues are making it impossible.

Tamika Johnson is a Family Preservation Worker that is currently seeing the Thomas Family. The Thomas’s have two children Melissa who is 15 years of age and Shane who is 14. Tamika is assigned in working with the family due to a report of Child Abuse. During the helping process Tamika learns that Shane is often truant from home and school causing verbal and physical altercation within the home.

It’s hard to say that comparing two individual’s lives is an easy task. When looking at my life and Esmerelda Santiago’s life, the sociological imagination could be used to assist in doing that. The following concepts will be used to better understand the surprising similarities and differences: immigration, doing gender, conformist, double consciousness, deviance and traditional authority. I will start by analyzing Esmerelda Santiago’s life. Following that, I will analyze my life and will finish with a conclusion that draws out the comparisons and differences of both.

Damien is described by his parents as a caring and smart child who analyzes every situation and loves school. He tends to be a little lazy when it comes to doing chores or helping around the house. This example of a family’s interesting dynamics that come about can be seen in a show called, “The Fosters.” In this show, the Foster family lives in San Diego where Stef Foster and Lena Adams (in later seasons being Lena Adams-Foster) parent five children, four of them being foster children and one coming from a previous marriage. The children’s names are Brandon (17yrs old), who is the oldest, Mariana (16) and Jesus (16), who are twins that were adopted after Stef and Lena got together, and Callie (17) and Jude (13) who are siblings that both got adopted. Stef is the birth mother of Brandon, coming from a previous relationship with another charater named Mike.

The House of Bernarda Alba is a drama depicting the lives of women in villages of Spain during the 20th century. The play begins by the mother, Bernarda, issuing a seven-year mourning period upon her family of five daughters after the death of her beloved spouse. The isolation inside this house causes tensions to rise, and a thematic struggle between freedom and captivity becomes apparent as emotions start to snowball out of control.
