Apria Healthcare is a privately owned company that was founded in 1924. There corporate headquarters are located in Lake Forest California. They are the largest provider of home healthcare products and services to help maximize the independence of their patients. This includes products and services for home respiratory therapy, medical equipment such as beds, bathroom equipment and wheelchairs, negative pressure wound therapy, home infusion therapy and most recently enteral.
They support over 2 million patients annually in all 50 states. The organization has approximately 550 locations all over the United States to provide support to the patients that they provide services to. They also have support locations throughout the country to support customer service, billing, insurance verification and supply chain management functions. The organization a functional organizational structure, with the branches also divide up by geography. My title is Business Program Manager. This positions provides program management leadership and oversight for the integration, planning and execution of strategic enterprise initiatives. My primary roles and responsibilities are as follows:
• Provide oversight for all projects related to integration of acquired entities within assigned functional areas. This includes leading projects directly, directing other functional managers assigned to lead projects and managing overall project commitments and delivery.
