Calvin Hunsinger School is a kindergarten through 12th grade behavior center in Pinellas County, Florida. Calvin Hunsinger is a Title I school with 100% of the students on free breakfast and lunch. 35% of the entire school is proficient in reading and a 38% average for proficiency in mathematics. Calvin Hunsinger has a 50% graduation rate, which indicates that only half of the students at our school graduate. When speaking to the principal, Mr. Keimig, it was realized that behavioral data is at an all time high and needs to be the focus for the upcoming school year. We discussed possible implementations for the new 5000 Role Models program and tied the program to our level system. My administrative team would like to have the entire middle school team’s input before we create a presentation of the program to our students. Within the course I have truly understood the dynamic impact a 3D team can have on data. Ensuring that a variety of team members will help to bring several viewpoints and suggestions to an area of need. As an administrator it is important to look at the overall picture instead of a small piece of the puzzle. As a classroom teacher I did not see the importance of discussing any other data that was not directly involved within my classroom.
