Hispanic ELLs students will be tested on their reading and on phonemics. The teacher will give the test to students individually because the teacher needs to hear the student read. The student will be given a book based on their reading level. The book will contain a picture and small amount of words. The picture is a way for students to make connections with the words, but there will be times where the student will not able to make the connections. Pictures are a visual for students so they could associate vocabulary words (Vacca-Ricopoulos & Nicoletti, 2009, p. 70). Once the student starts to read the book the teacher will use a timer to determine how long it took the student to read the book. Once the reading part is over, the teacher will ask the students questions regarding the book. The teacher will have a graded formatted sheet and that sheet will contain information based on the student’s reading capacity and understanding of the book.

A basic model of crisis intervention is the ABC Model as described by Kristi Kanel. There are a number of crisis intervention models out there, besides the one given by Kanel in our text, that also utilize a similar three-stage process, or even a four-stage process. Yet essentially, they all involve (A) establishing a rapport, (B) understanding the problem, and (C) taking action. Kanel (2014) states that:
Educating counselors on the common crisis issues is important due to helping our counselor recognize the emotional and physical behaviors so they can administer the proper resources for the victim. Indeed, there are going to be situation where the counselor wants to tell the client to leave the relationship when the client does not want too, but it is the important to influence the counselors to work on empowering the client to handle their issues and research the provided resources.

When dispatch issues a crisis call, stating that a person is emotional disturbed and is about to take measures of life into their own hands, regardless, if it is a suicide or domestic violence call, it is necessary for officers to be trained to perform their duties correctly; in order to help resolve the crisis situation. Upon the officer’s arrival at the scene, they must first assess the situation with extreme caution, as well as call for back up. They should park away from the location and approach the scene slowly on foot. Next, it is important that an officers address the party/parties with a calm and soothing voice. If the call is a suicide, and the relatives or friends are at the scene, have them help communicate and address the subject, unless of course there is animosity; under those circumstances, the individual may have
When looking into the Crisis Center homepage the view of sadness and depression affect me to make an impact in the community of Tampa bay area. Currently, there are numbers of people suffer primarily because they have had their heart broken, they have had a fight or struggle with a dear person, they have lost something, or someone that was really significant in their life. Remember that sadness is a state of mind that comes and goes as it pleases. However, depression is a more serious situation. The view of depression on the homepage can bring negative thoughts that leads any people to commit suicide because it is a dangerous syndrome that can be cured only through therapy.
There can be a misunderstanding on what the role of a pastor should be. The congregation member that jokes that a pastor works only one day of the week is making light of the true role of a pastor.

In the 1990s, Argentina was dipping into a recession and recovering from nearly astronomical inflation rates of about 200% per month in the 80s. The government's idea to prevent this from continuing came in the form of the Convertibility Plan and the creation of the currency board. This board was given the task of pegging the peso to the US dollar, and fixing the exchange rate by "[maintaining] dollar reserves, and [being unable to] expand the supply of pesos without an equivalent increase in the dollars that it holds" (MacEwan, 2001). Though not immediately, the International Monetary Fund supported Argentina's Convertibility Plan because at first, the effects seemed beneficial. It also seemed to be a different and more solid way of solving past financial issues, and in light of the Mexican Crisis, the IMF was thrilled to see Argentina "[use the] crisis to press ahead with needed measures, in particular rectifying the situation of provincial banks" and "[tighten] fiscal policy" (Allen, 2003).
