Case Study: GSA City Pair

New High School for Summit City project is thoroughly communicated to all members involved and is located in the north section of Summit City, Ontario. The owner of this project is Prince Edward Regional Board of Education. Summit City has two public high schools and the Board of Education applied for ministry approval for the construction of a new education facility, with a total of $19,000,000. The existing schools would have to be teared down, costing them a total of $2,600,000, so that one site can be sold to build a condominium and the other site can be used to the board of educational regional office. I am appointed to give the owner, Prince Edward Regional Board of Education, an idea of which is the best project delivery methods for this kind of case scenario. The three methods of project delivery are:

The City of Lapeer does not have a historic preservation plan; however the City recognizes the importance of preserving our history and encourages historic preservation and historically accurate designs in new projects. Within the City’s Master Plan, a key goal is to promote business development that is compatible with the character of Lapeer, recognizing the historical importance and architectural appeal of its buildings.

The dream, the vision and the action to finalize a deal which would bring a Major League Baseball (MLB) team to the City of St. Petersburg was realized in 1998 when the Tamp Bay Devil Rays took the field for the first time at Tropicana Field. The City of St. Petersburg became victorious in succeeding where Tampa had prevailed so many times before. The triumph came when a group of ambitious businessmen collaborated to build what became the Florida Suncoast Dome in 1988 in downtown St. Petersburg. There had been a competition between Tampa and St. Petersburg to see who would build a new baseball stadium first. Tampa already had Raymond James Stadium, had built MacDill Air Force Base and the Florida Aquarium, St.Petersburg had nothing. St. Petersburg desperate to attract big business and attractions to the west side of Tampa Bay went and built the new stadium before securing a major league baseball team. The city was buried deep in the controversial move, for a mid market city to invest in a stadium without first securing a franchise could cost the city and the tax payers significantly. The gamble paid off and through years of trying to lure a franchise from other cities and being denied at every opportunity, the City of St. Petersburg was granted an expansion team by MLB.

The population of people in Sentinel City is 663,862. There was a 9.6% increase in the population within the last two years. 21.7% of the population is under 18 years old, persons under 5 years old 7.4% and 10.5% is over 65 years old. The ethnic backgrounds are as follows: 80.6% is Caucasian, 10.4% African-American, 31.5% Hispanic, 2.0% American Indian/Alaskan Native, 3.7% Asian, and 0.2% Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander. The median household income of Sentinel City is $49,091. The percentage of Sentinel City residents living below poverty level is 18.9%.

The Seattle Seahawks are a professional American football franchise based in Seattle, Washington. They are members of the West division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The Seahawks joined the NFL in 1976 as an expansion team along with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Seahawks are owned by Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft, and are currently coached by Pete Carroll. As a result of my fact-finding, the Parklane Road Office Incident did not involve a SCVRD employee, yet was an incident between two SCDHHS employees. Please refer to the e-mail thread below. I was able to verify my deduction that the incident did not involve SCVRD staff after contacting Mr. Jim Hampton on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Mr. Hampton stated that the owner of the cream colored Chevrolet vehicle was a SCDHHS employee along with Ms. Terri Jo Shupe and this matter is under the investigation by the SCDHHS ‘s Human Resources

There was a population of 371,791 males which is 48.38 percent of the people in Jacksonville. In, addition females represented 396,746 of the population with that being 51.62 percent of the total population of the Florida city (U.S. Beacon,2014). The state population in Florida that year was approximately 17,789,864 million people (??). I believe it is necessary for me to introduce myself prior to the city council meeting, I am Councilor Hailey Carman; I’m an african american woman with two children (ages 6 and 9). Being a minority, I know the struggles that many of Camelot’s citizens face and go through on a daily basis, which is why I strongly advocate for increased employment and support for minorities in the community. While I have recently moved out of the city, due to a nasty divorce, I am very concerned about the urban sprawl that is occurring. To help solve this, Camelot should begin a revitalization process in order to regrow the city’s CBD. For example, if more daycares were put in the CBD parents would be more inclined to find local jobs; however, daycare can be an expensive necessity that many cannot afford so financial assistance of some kind would be required. The City of Horizon is located south of Adelaide (320 kilometres), and north-west of Melbourne (530 kilometres) (University of South Australia (UniSA) 2017). The city is surrounded by the Southern Ocean and the following cities; Cape Arch, Beachside, Yonder Hill, Limestone Point and Woodside (UniSA 2017). The population (29,308) is surrounded by Yonder District Council (UniSA 2017). The City of Horizon is an aging population, as almost half the patrons (44.4%) are over 60 years old (UniSA 2017). Females are shown to be present in over half the city’s population (51.7%), furthermore 48.3% of the city are males patrons (UniSA 2017). It is evident that majority of the people living in the city are Australian born (85.9%), moreover a few patrons

Was this you understanding from the meeting? I thought we decided that Skyline would submit a price for the supply and install of asphalt and everything below that was to be included in their base price. I prepared the following response to Jesse but wanted to make sure you guys had the same understanding.

The original proposal for the site was four skyscrapers and it was approved by the City of Miami, however in 2008 with the recession the project was cancelled.
