It is third largest Indian private sector conglomerate after Tata group and reliance group. It is having an employee force over 120000, belonging to 42 nationalities, over 50% of its revenue comes from overseas and it operates in about 36 countries. FMCG products like personal care, paper products, pharmaceuticals, consumer electronics, plastic goods, printing and stationery etc FMCG sector has grown at an annual average of about 11 percent over last decade; food product is the leading segment accounting for 43 per cent of overall market. Personal care (22 percent) and fabric care (12 percent) comes next in terms of market share. Factors like growing awareness, easier access and changing lifestyles have been the key growth drivers of the sector.
